Yup, death penalty. He has outlined his reasons for it already.

Thanks. FL judges aren't to be trusted though.

(I'll admit it , I'm a Snow Flake !(Snoq) The rest of my tagline redacted by court order.)

This judge is doing this the right way! It is important to read all this...cause with a death sentence...he is trying to avoid the Tookie type protests.

Based on what's being said here, that's what it sounds like to me, too. You can generally tell which way it's going by how the judge lays the ground work ... the judge has to keep appeals in mind, too.

(That's how I saw it, and see it still.)

I am pretty sure this is the same court that released the head of the Outlaws motorcycle gang, after the State had evidence enough to have him put to death.

Judge "strangulation takes 2-4 minutes..."
brutal.

Judge "Carlie endured unspeakable camera"... "the image of the defendant taken her arm and taking her away will no doubt be forever etched in our minds..."

Amazes me how long this has been in the courts. What a crime.
JUDGE: "At 11 years of age there is no doubt she was aware of her dire predicament and had little or no hope of her survival"..."worst of all, Carlie knew she was going to die"...

I'd prefer he first get a few lessons in what needle-nose pliers can do, and then get that 'other' needle.

Judge: "Her kidnapping was a deliberate act..." ..."not an accident"... "like the kidnapping, the rape was not an accident or a need to obtain more drugs..."
