His sole decision to murder her was to avoid having her as a witness. She posed no threat to him when she was bound with ligatures. Great weight assigned to this factor.

I hope the judge is not as slack as the one who allowed the monster to stay on the streets against the recommendation of his parole officer. Carlie would not have been killed if that judge had done his job.
