I want those kittens! (: I don't think the cat I have now, 16-year-old Fearless, would appreciate them as much as I would though!

Amen, freema. I found just the right card for a friend once, a lovely young woman going through a particularly hard time. She was doubting her ability to grow in the Lord and to choose the right course. She felt like she had already failed and she was discouraged.
The card pictured Lady's Slippers distinct amidst a green forest floor, and written over the top: "Blooming is hard work."
She still has the card as a reminder. We all need that one now and again!

Good evening God! Thank you for the rest that comes at the end of each day, settling in warm and smelling dinner cooking! Keep us all this night in gentle abiding in You until morning is renewed. How faithful You are for the mornings and evenings! Thank You!

My generation keeps forgetting the
enormous information gap subtly created by liberals who quietly undermined all we were during WWII, and all we held dear!!
Life changed so dramatically after the war, and we didn't notice, as many more women began to go to work outside the home.
More persons moved away from wherever "home" was located for various reasons, with the result The Stories - without a close audience - simply were not passed on with frequency!
Miss Dixie, I did a Search for a list of places in the United States where German POWs were kept, remembering clearly there were many.
For the edification of everyone, here is a link to an excellent one, by State:
