"It is run by ex-muslims and is quite authoritative on the subject of islam."
No. It's run by muslims trying to "deal with those individuals whose sole task in life is to demonise islam"
I think they're misguided. islam is doing a very nice job of demonizing itself.

that pretty much sums it up...........but if people were educated what would be the next step? Not to become a convert? Watch for signs of sleeper cells, How to report suspicious activity, etc.......
On the other side of the coin....well, "Scooter" and "Bubba" will take care of the other. The interesting part is that our domestic Islamic terrorist and Ole "Bubba" or "Scooter" have one thing in common. They hate "Joos"....etc.......Its going to be an interesting year.

Your description of the Imans role is profoundly correct, IMO. They are the vocal expression of the repression within the koran. Their voices echo within the heads of the new slaifists that they incubate with their sermons of hatred every time they open their mouths. In their leadership role, they have an all encompassing power to draw in new recruits for their defined agenda of an islamic takeover. Justified by their koran, idolized by their devote followers and constantly looking for ways to infuriate their masses into frenzy. Their position is one of absolute power. They are the enemies of any free society.

Consider befriending a muslim student with a view towards his conversion. Then pray fervantly and consistently for a miracle.

I do appreciate your response to my post. I tend to express myself somewhat assertively when I feel strongly about a subject. There are times when you wonder if what you are saying is completely accurate. My four years in Saudi and five in Kosovo gave me a background to understand this wave. If I didn't have that then doubts would be stronger and conviction would not be as assertive. Bottom line, we are in deep sh#$@T. The one thing that another poster mentioned was to befriend a muslim and turn them around. True, however, the loyality to family, friends and the Imams make it very difficult for one to turn from Muslim to any other faith. For some it means a death sentence. For others is exile and daily fear of their life.
Thanks,
Tom

Well, you can't beat something with nothing. Islam is a complete social system with deep personal ties within the family and community. On the one hand, we need to pursue and model a kind of Christianity that is also full-orbed and rich in relationships. On the other hand, we need to ask God to discredit Islam globally. Hey, it happened to communism. I grew up under the shadow of The Bomb, then one day the red menace was a joke, a hollow shell, and the people were devastated by the loss of their vector (force + direction) in life. And responsive to the gospel -- I was on a mission team to Ukraine in 1992.
I really think God, out of compassion for the billion or so muslims out there, will kick the props out from under that cult, and I pray it happens soon. OTOH, I pray even more fervantly that we might be ready when the door of opportunity swings open.

But his anger is misdirected, don't you think.
Of course. Muslim identity gave him a way to heroicize his petty problems. Young Moslems can under different circumstances run away or ignore their traditions (as all kinds of youth do), look at the Lebanese and Iranian party kids.
