That's for sure.

I've listened to the persecution/victimization complex for decades, from right here in our own country. Minorities (both racial and religious) took the complex to amazing heights/depths.

I remember a Donahue show from WAY back when, during a period when black and Hasidic Jews were going at it after a traffic death in New York.
Donahue had a panel on his show of 8 men:
*one middle-aged black man (their leader) and three younger black men, all firebrands and VERY smart.
*one middle-aged Rabbi (their leader) and three younger Jewish men, all firebrands and VERY smart.

They went at it for quite a while, with the younger men battling it out over WHICH group had undergone the MOST suffering, which group was discriminated against MORE and which group DESERVED all the sympathy, power, money, status, etc., by dint of their bravery, ya-da-ya-da; you get the gist of the panel.
Naturally, the white man (not white woman or white women) was the underlying villain. Both sides got a lot of laughs with that whole thing.
The two older men said almost nothing.

Donahue summed it up with saying that BOTH groups were flip sides of the SAME coin: elitists (because racism and bigoty are parts of elitism) whose persecution/victimization complex was amusing and interesting...a pissing contest on who suffered the most.

This made everyone laugh, the six young men included. Neither "patriarch" was amused ONE BIT because ... Donahue NAILED it. ALL EIGHT WERE BIGOTS/RACISTS and spent the entire hour trying to justify their own particular racist/bigoted position, while scorning and one-upping the OTHER group's "claim" for "superior victimization status." It really was fun to watch and listen to.

It was the only time, I think, that I ever agreed with Donahue.

Those Serbs with this complex match our own "victims": American Indians, Latinos (interchangeable with la raza, Hispanics, etc.), women libbers, homosexual advocates, etc.

It's ALL butthump.

The only REAL class of genuine victims in our country is the group of MILLIONS of TRULY innocent aborted/murdered babies.
