Yes, that is the posted pic of her that appears on the linked news article. Date of that photo is 1997.
Apparently OJ hasn't convinced Sydney that Nicole got what she deserved.
There is no way this poor girl and her brother will lead normal lives. I expect they have major problems and may believe deep inside that their father killed their mother. Doesn't OJ have a grown son (a chef or something) who is estranged from him and believes he killed her?
The pic was taken in 1997, almost a decade ago.
As a young girl living with OJ, I'm sure she's protecting herself unconsciously by thinking her father is innocent. She'd almost have to think that or it would drive her mad.
And c'mon people. Stop mocking her looks. Some comments are best kept to yourselves. < /soapbox >
My best g/f worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dana Point CA and every sunday Oj, Nicole and the Kids would come in for Sunday Brunch, she said Sydney was so darling had these blonde curly locks and beautiful bronze skin and OJ would totally ignore his family and would be flirting with women through-out the hotel as well as signing autographs for all, she said Nicole always looked a wreck totally stressed out...
Wow, she does look just like her dad. Poor kid.
I can imagine. We all want to believe that our parents are good people, and after the horror of having her mother murdered, it's only natural that she would be desperate to believe in the only parent she had left. I feel so sorry for her and her brother.

Believe it or not, the report leaves out some important details (imagine that?) Here is what she really did, and, I don't know, to me it sounds like just a bit more than yelling and "defending her mother":
Sydney Simpson, OJ Simpson's 19-year-old daughter, was arrested after an alleged fight at her former prep school. She's accused of yelling profanities at officers and slapping one on the wrist. Police said two girls at the scene said Simpson hit them in the face.
She does have eyebrows like Eugene Levy.
You mean to tell me they don't have any recent picture of this girl? Just one that is 9 years old?
Even if she thinks he murdered her mom, I can't imagine the fall out and danger to her were she ever to relate her thoughts to him.
I am pretty sure she knows her dad was a major cocaine freak, a wife beater and a first class attention whore for the media and public...He is pretty disgusting in every aspect...
The out of control judical system has destroyed her life.
She and her brother will never be normal.
It is sad that so many Judges ( Vermont included, lately ) do not see the victims rights.
They generally only see the criminals "rights."
That pic of her isn't that bad...she has her hair a mess....and no makeup...she's a kid. You can't look beyond that? I think in a different pic she'd be a pretty girl. I'd like to see what you look like.

I think Sidney was age 10, maybe 11 at that time.
One day, she will want to research the trial and perhaps ask the Brown family several questions.
