Randy "Duke" Cunningham has recurring prostate cancer and will likely die in prison

Well, he won't be doing hard time then.

We all fail, while I do not diminish the seriousness of Dukes actions, what I find more disturbing than the fact that he took bribes... is that he now sits there and has a man argue he should not do the time because of his health issues.

One could argue that he was weak of will by taking the bribes.... but to then not stand up to take the punishment like a man shows he is not only weak of will, but lacking manhood.

I wish the justice system would prosecute all white collar criminals harshly. Its intollerable that if you steal $200 from someone on the street you can get years.. but if you steal $200 from 10,000 people through fraud you get a few months at camp cupcake and probation.

Sad, damned sad, that a national hero and a person of significant accomplishments turned against the people and the law the way he did. He should face the punishment given to anyone in his situation, nothing more and nothing less.

I agree... many wives are as you describe. I just don't think she is one of them.

She is a school principal and administrator. The SDUT said this: "Nancy's colleagues also describe her as smart. She has earned advanced degrees, managed school budgets and won recognition for school management. "

It is hard to believe that such a person would not notice millions of extra dollars, yachts, mansions, a Rolls-Royce and antiques flowing into the family estate and not ask "where is this coming from?"

Well having degrees does not make one neccessarily street smart. You can buy a heck of a lot on 300 or 400k a year.. which between investments, his old salary and hers is very realistically what they could have been bringing in.

Too bad for him he isn't a democrat..never would have been investigated, indicted, convicted, and would be working for the lib news media instead.
