MediaChannel.org used the powerful new MediaVision tool to monitor television news coverage of the Able Danger Congressional hearings. To our astonishment CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight" was the only news show to give Able Danger any significant coverage.
We were so shocked by the lack of coverage that we created an online campaign to try to pressure TV news networks to cover, as Lou Dobbs put it, "what could be the biggest scandal of our lifetime." Click here to send networks an email demanding coverage!
So, sadly, here it is. All the TV coverage we could find thus far:

Unbelievably, this group found that only 25 minutes of TV time has been given to Able Danger coverage. I knew there hadn't been much coverage, but this is shockingly little.

C-Span yesterday had Brian with 2 reporters, one from Ft Wayne, IN, and Detroit. A caller asked when C-Span was going to cover Able-Danger, they all just generally agreed that the 9-11 Commision said there was nothing "credible' there, so they had no plans to look any further into it.

What wrong with you people?? Able danger will be a Clinton Scandal, have you ever seen the Clintons come under any REAL scrutiny? I mean other than a head job. The FBI files, The Rose law firm, the Barrett report, The blood scandal. They all bounced off like BB's off a tank. Do you really expect any different in Able Danger?

The press is too busy "covering" the Cheney hunting accident.

I hears Weldon on Tony's Snow's show from yesterday.
If Tony gets ahold of this - and it appeared he was doing that - this will have legs.
After Tony got involved with the Barrett Report - it really got noticed and the dems' attempt to kill the publishing of the report was ended. Tony called repub congress people and they made sure the report was not killed.

Well.... obviously nobody's called NBC's David Gregory or that Mayor of Los Angeles to tell them.

oh heck..... and really this planet, she's like bazaar'o world.
People don't pay attention, and this is terrible. If the world wasn't the world (bazaar'o) .... and truth and justice could win out, the clintons would be in jail along with probably 25 percent plus of congress, the executive branch, probably 80 percent of the lawyers (LoL, and crying on the inside), and let us not begin to think about the judges. The office of power is an office of corruption. and believe me.... I hope 25 percent corrupt is an inflated number...if the number is higher the nations future would be in greater jeopardy than present. btw, NOTHING HAPPENED is the standard answer, and the corruption continued. :-(

I'm surprised it has gotten that much coverage on television.

We all need to find more effective ways to push the Able Danger story- Here's a heart breaker, the mother of one of the our heroes killed on the USS Cole commented on one of my blog posts at
The Able Danger Blog: Thank you for doing such a good job covering this issue. The information, including links, make your site my first stop most mornings. I wish more Americans were more concerned with this issue. The BIG picture keeps growing as more and more information is learned. I pray we eventually will learn the truth. Thank you, again.
