You remind me of my current, as I was recently informed "boss".
Men can't be expected to clean up after themselves in the breakroom, so it is my additional duty, even an expected part of my job description, albeit unwritten, that I do so.
No matter that the company pays for a cleaning service, it is my job because I am female to wipe up after spills.
And yes,the person telling me this is female.
I will be very happy when all the baby boomers retire, or otherwise absent themselves from the workplace.
