Isn't this the same bozo who leaked classified info to the NYT and that Risen character? Why isn't he being prosecuted?

"LOL! I do not believe I ever read of the "Echelon" project being discontinued and that was for monitoring communications worldwide for key words - of course x42 was running it so that was OK ... :-("

wasn't that the successor to Carnivore? I thought they weren't using it inside the U.S. for legal reasons.

Why is he not in jail yet?

He's a nut case. Literally.

Why not hold those hearings at St Elizabeth mental hospital in DC. Maybe John Hinkley would like to share.

I see. Utter Valerie Plames name and be Republican, you are a "leaker" of matters of National Security.

Be a Democrat and slip real National Security matters about ongoing investigations and howm we track enemies while at war, and you are a "whistleblower."

Don't you just love Double Standards?

He is not in jail for several reasons. For one thing, there's no sense giving anything he says credence. For another, he's crazy!

Tice is a confirmed psycho. I hope he keeps on talking and the Dems stand behind him.

Seems like this psycho dumbo should be able to provide some video material for the RNC for '06 campaign.

How about elephant hunting? A elephant gun blast is real messy on a human.

....."there is another ongoing top-secret surveillance program".....

Am surprised that this news hasn't replaced the 'shooting' yet. Doesn't this fit with the AG's refusal to answer at least a few questions posed by leftist Senators regarding programs that have not yet been disclosed? Even Harman, in a recent interview, eluded to this possibility by repeatedly saying she was referring to 'this program' (as opposed to some other we do not yet know about)? Were those Senators who questioned AG simply assuming that another/other programs existed or have they been tipped off by someone like Tice?

Everybody is pretending that the only thing they know is what they have read on the front page of the New York Times. But there is a heck of a lot more out there.

Nobody talks about it becuase it does not serve anybody's interest to talk about it. The Donks are just playing politics, and there is sufficient material here to use to hurt the President, so they don't need more. Besides, it gives them something to drip-drip-drip out later when the story starts to lose it's legs. The 'Pubbies don't talk about it because they know you are not supposed to be giving away secrets to the enemy, and want to seem more responsible (reletively speaking) than the Donks.

Agent X, Russell Tice

Russell D. Tice, a self-described conservative, believes President Bush should be impeached over the current controversy involving the NSA's domestic surveillance program.

Tice Admits Being a Source for The New York Times

He told ABC News that he was a source for the Times' reporters. But Tice maintains that his conscience is clear.

The trigger for his downfall the following April was the arrest of Katrina Leung; the F.B.I. informant accused of spying for China while having an affair with a bureau agent. It prompted Tice to send a classified e-mail to the D.I.A. security section, commenting that the Leung case showed that the F.B.I. was “incompetent.”

DIA notified NSA of the e-mail and Tice was ordered to undergo a psychiatric test for violating security rules on contacting officials of other agencies. He was found mentally unbalanced, and his clearance was suspended.

The NSA revoked Tice's security clearance in May of last year based on what it called psychological concerns and later dismissed him.
