Hopefully I'll never know, but as the father of three girls, I wonder if I wouldn't rather know that he is getting passed around on a daily basis for the rest of his life. Like I said, I don't know, and don't WANT to know for sure what I would want.

I would hope his "family" wouldn't want any more to do with this bag of garbage. I wouldn't let my daughters visit him EVER! I wouldn't think they would want to and having him GONE is much better for them knowing he has been punished and they don't have to grow up knowing that scumbag is still alive. Put him down and move on. Carlye was a beautiful child. He's an animal. Being a drug addict is not an excuse to rape and murder a child.

All you guys with the gun have got it wrong, wrong, wrong. Shootin' is WAY to good for this steaming pile of excrement. I like the suggestions that he be passed around like a penitentiary prom date, interspersed with regular beatings by fellow inmates working out their "hostility issues" on his face, teeth, arms, legs and gonads. After about ten years of that he should be buried alive in a box of maggots.
