I kinda want us to be 'almost' hit, with the most massive terrorist plot of all time foiled at the last second, resulting in thousands of terrorists deported:)

I havn't bought a newspaer to read in years, last time I did buy one it was for when I needed to nask off a truck for spraypainting.
Its the 21st century and the media is becoming antiquadated, has anybody NOT seen the mohammed cartoon on the internet? heck no cause its everywhere, millions of internet users have seen them, millions of us are laughing at the folly of Islam.
On the internet we can monitor our homes remotely, have video chat, find obscure references almost immediately, be armchair generals and during news events able to see things from different aspects.
Its funny that years ago I did not think much of puters or the web, now I find its the best tool that can fight Islam, I'm willing to bet no bombs get dropped cause Iran is ruled by a coward and he has internet access and may very well be able to see posts like here at FR. There has been more logical talk and even more redneck warfare talk than ever before...all aimed at Iran.
You get 10 million rednecks all armed at once who is gonna come out in one piece if we find Islamic groups in the US are directly involved in destroying our society?

Everyone would hope that the American post 9/11 spirit could be revived without such a horrific event. However our own experience as well as the complete historical record speaks against such spontaneous resurgence of patriotism/righteous indignation. I can understand what you wrote and I pity you for the flaming you will get for saying it. Almost any comment could be used to start an honest debate, unfortunately most are not used for that purpose.

When asked to NOT publish vital National Security information, the NYT went ahead and published it.
In both cases (cartoons, phone taps) they worked to the advantage of the enemies of the US.
Obviously they have political bias against Republicans. We have known that all along.
Now the case becomes more clear every day, they seek advantage for our military and national enemies, too.

The Rats would call it a lie.
No terrorists would be deported.

When it comes to taking on conservatives, Catholics, Evangelicals and the like, liberal news media are Supermen. When it comes to confronting real evil, however, the news media are Mickey Mouse. Shame on the MSM...

The LW MSM, why, they're so a-skeered of them thar Mooselimbs that they's shet raht up & are a-wettin' themselves.

Dennis Prager nailed it. The American media say they declined to run the Muslim cartoons because of sensitivity. Then why did WaPo run the quadruple amputee-Rumsfeld cartoon? I guess they weren't too concerned about sensitivity to our wounded and their families.

The MSM thinks taking on conservatives, Christians and Jews is tough. But they're afraid of Muslims. When it comes to being unflinchingly candid about the news, they fall short of their self-proclaimed standards. All that talk about giving the American people an unvarnished, no holds barred picture of what's going in the world, in the face of their refusal to print or air the Mohammed cartoons originally published in Denmark, has been revealed to be a bunch of pure Barbara Streisand.

The way I see it, the Democrats felt that Bush was going to be a "one Term Wonder" like his dad. They felt they would have things their way. Then 9/11 happened. There was a unity within the country. The Democrats saw their chances fading fast. They lost in '02 and '04. Now they feel that if they marginalize the WOT they can win elections again. But there is one small fact they fail to come to grips with, these people want their heads in a basket. Appeasing terrorists will not stop them.

I wouldn't really mind if a hijacked airliner crashed into the New Dork Slimes, ACLU, or UN headquarters.

You don't have to pity me for the flamming i got. I accept the flamming as long as we start seeing the extremes.
