Is Full health care Insurance required to be provided to any part time empolyee after 10 hours per week ? I don't know about this. But one acquaintance found that the law stipulated that he had to continue to pay either unemployment or health insurance (can remember which) for an employee he had fired. That reinforced our view that we would stay away from hiring.

They've gotta pay for all of those blood tests for weeding out the impure somehow.
Institutionalized racial prejudice, only in Hawaii!

Of course, when you're measuring average tax receipts per person, Conn., will come up near the top, as their wages per person are near the top.
Statistics lie. Let's see a chart of % of tax receipts as a percentage of average income.

No - wherever Connecticut is on the list it's still a shame he's breathing.

What we really need to do is raise taxes in Hawaii.

"Trying to be all things to all people costs a heck of a lot of money,"
"We are not the low-tax Virginia that people knew over the years."
Maryland's tax burden, which is $693 more per person than it was in 1994, ranked 15th in the nation.
Hawaiians last year paid the most to state government -- $3,050 per person on average.
Texans paid the least -- an average of $1,368.

That's what I thought. But then why isn't Alaska higher up on the list? Probably because Wyoming has a smaller population than Alaska. (around 500k vs 700k). That means more tax $ per head.
