reviewing the case of former soldier Jeremy Hinzman

I have to disagree. He's still a soldier until the court martial convenes and discharges him, and then hangs him for desertion.

Sounds like the little weasel is a bit of a legal expert, eh? Then he can defend himself when we drag his sorry butt back to the US for a court martial, followed by a stretch in Leavenworth (yeah, he'll get "stretched" there;)
