I did not watch the hours long service but I did catch parts on the news. I was particularly disturbed by a leading Black Activist who said (words to the effect) that racism is still rampant. Just look at the color of the faces of the Katrina victims.

I say we should let them keep on talking. They are just giving themselves more rope.

Turns out the worst hit areas of New Orleans were predominantly white but that little bit of news was never shown.

The Black Activist who said that was Jimmy Carter.

What is Project 21? Is it a conservative black group? I'm glad they are speaking out, but I don't know if many people are listening to them.

N.O. is a chocolate city. What would you expect the color of the faces of the people to be?

I have friends that know Alveda King, and they were saying that they were afraid that Alveda King (niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.) was hurt by this nonsense at the funeral yesterday by Jimmy Carter, et al.
I pray that this nonsense by the liberals did not hurt the members of the King family in their time of grief, but I am afraid they probably did.
So sad...

Not real.
Don't believe them for a minute.
They will rehash this as long as they can repeat the bush bashes and say that this was not the place.
They will not distance themselves from the bashing, just the timing of the bashes.

If it did then the Kind Family should speak out about it. DUers and Leftists all over think the King family wanted it to be political and thought it was the right thing to do without even asking if they though that way. If the King family spoke out against what the Dems did then they would have egg on their faces - right now they think the King family approved of it. That is what I have been reading!
