I believe the story is that Johnson covered up the Castro connection because he didn't want to deal with the reaction of the Amercian public to Kennedy's assassination so close after the missile crisis.

Plus Johnson was afraid it could push voters into the Republican camp too close before the 1964 election.

I have no idea what the evidence is for this story or whether it stands up to scrutiny.

Was Karl Rove anywhere near the grassy knoll? And could Karl have had any rifles in his possession at that point in time? And could Karl have hitchhiked from his home...200 miles away...to the destination...and then made it back in time for supper? And did Karl Rove know Jack Ruby...perhaps a paper route acquitance that proceeded to become more than just a paper delivery kid and a bar-owner/pimp relationship? Did Karl know Fideo during this period? Did Fidel wire Karl money ($48 for a automatic rifle featured in Boy Scouts digest)? Did Karl have reason to fire the fatal shot (hatred of left wing tendency already at age 12)? Did Karl have an alibi that afternoon...of attending a church social and singing Mickey Mouse club songs? Did Karl plan the entire affair using other right-wing conservitive kids from his neighborhood as look-outs?

These are the questions that we should be asking.
