Hamas, Like Fatah, Wants All of 'Palestine' By Patrick Goodenough CNSNews.com International Editor January 27, 2006

(CNSNews.com) - A Hamas leader said late Thursday that the terrorist group's victory in the Palestinian legislative elections would "complete the liberation of other parts of Palestine."

Ismail Haniyeh, addressing a victory press conference, did not elaborate, but his pledge echoes the covenant adopted by Hamas at its founding in 1988.

"The day that enemies usurp part of Muslim land, jihad becomes the individual duty of every Muslim," reads article 15 of the Hamas Charter. "In face of the Jews' usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of jihad be raised."

I don't believe anyone ever told the Palistines that the land they claim was originally Israel and that it was re-named Palistine so there wouldn't be Israel. So, it was ursurped from Israel first!

How about somebody telling them they can't have anything...boy - did Sharon miscalculate.

How about the palis go back to the hells they came from....Turkey, Jordan, yemen, Bosnia, kurdistan, etc. most of them are not from the area anyway. Turks moved them around for geopolitical purposes when they were lords of the area.

Every one of these terrorist things depends fundamentally on the idea of the victim being more civilized than the perpetrator. Take that ingredient out of the picture, and the whole terror thing falls apart. I mean, you will look in vain in the history books for any sort of a story about anybody doing any sort of a terrorism thing against Genghis Khan or Tamerlane or Joseph Stalin. At some point, sooner or later, the world is going to have to learn to get mean with these people.

Shush... If we made the Muslims give back all the land they usurped from Christians and Jews, they'd be surprised to discover how little they'd have.

Personally, I think it is time they gave back our churches and temples that they turned into mosques.

I find it interesting that it is not generally known that Fatah and Hamas lay claim to the entire nation of Israel. Is there some reason this should be a big secret? Should the American public be that uneducated?

My guess is that keeping that fact from the public eye makes it easier for politicians to pretend to be engaged in a "peace process".
