Every reply here I read so far ignores reality. From my personal view the Black population in Boston has more than tripled in 40 years. The City population as a whole has remained constant. The white population decreased. Now who is aborting? Blacks or Whites? What I see destroying the black community is the enabling social welfare system. It supports unwed mothers. It actually encourages them to have babies so they can become more dependent. This is a militant feminist movement driven agenda. The men hating lesbians are the glue that holds their movement together

The pro-lifers had better get a grip on reality. I can't believe this went unnoticed by the previous posters.

Two great men are known for saying 2 memorable verses. King said: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they are not judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." He was against affirmative action, quotas and anything else that looked at skin color.

Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country".

Although a large majority of both Black and Liberal America claim these two great men as their own, they are truely Conservatives by their words and deeds. Liberals, both Black & White, cannot look past skin color nor can they live without asking government to do for them that they refuse to do for themselves.

Each day, liberals kill 1307 future possible democrat voters. That comes out to over 7.1 million voters that would have been at least 18 years old.

Always amazed by the liberal hypocrisy. They would have had the votes to win in 2000 and 2004, if only they wouldn't be hell-bent on killing off their voting base.

Of course, this has always been the sad tradition of planned parenthood.

Your post followed umgood's, which is really sort of spooky. Margaret Sanger was a racist eugenist, who wanted to force members of "inferior" races to be sterilized and to abort all unplanned (e.g., "licensed" or permitted) pregnancies.

Elitists like Kennedy and Kerry want to accomplish the same thing, and their allies (Jesse Jackson and certified malicious liar Al Sharpton) lead their minions into the same abortion mill.

Hey maybe that your reality. Not mine. There's plenty of abortion going on where I live. I'd not use Boston or even New York as any standard of what's going on with abortion. Rememver big cities are mostly rat strongholds and all their democrat welfare incentives.

What I see destroying the black community is the enabling social welfare system.

Good point- the real problem is not that a 15 year old black girl has an abortion, but that she is pregnant at all, or even sexually active. Morality has to be restored-I don't mourn for all those lost babies of abortion because most of them (of all races) shouldn't exist if we as women took care of ourselves and avoided sexual immorality.

I would rather see us with a smaller population free of the pathology of the welfare state than full of people born of single, teenage mothers. Responsibility is the only true solution.

Starr has a good story to tell if anyone doesn't know. She was a welfare mom in either Watts or Compton with what that entails. She worked her way out of it while getting an education and a college degree. She started her own business.

Now I remember. When welfare reform was being debated in the mid 90's, she was on C-Span and mostly ignored elsewhere. She met Gingrich and others that wanted to do something about this issue. She spoke about how welfare workers told women with children that they had to kick their men out if they wanted to keep recieving welfare.

She should be more prominent and outspoken again. She's attractive on TV and speaks with CLARITY about things a Black woman knows about.

Please keep Alveda King in your prayers. She is under intense pressure. She is trying to get out the message of how abortion is hurting black society.

Last week, in Atlanta, she released a Pro-Life DVD (her song/video).

I was able to give Alveda an advance birthday present this week.
