Reportedly killed (by at least one major news source):

I just realized what this sounds like - renegade news sources conducting vigilante justice on terrorists! LOL

On all al Qaeda-affiliated dinners. Please have cookouts in the back yard and have someone always looking up.

Two points:

The size of the footprint in taking out 3 homes makes me wonder if possibly 2 Hellfire missiles were involved.

I want to remind everyone the final score is not known yet. Over the next 3 or 4 days more information will come out.

Good list. It was something like this that brought me to FR -- still trying to figure out who it was, but someone had the list of the 52 most wanted on their profile page and when I googled looking for a current list that came up. LOL!

Reports have generally discussed multiple explosions; some have even speculated fixed-wing aircraft may have been involved.

Star, thanks for reminding me to ping Sarge and Allegra, so they can see the consolidated open-source reporting from that "other" area of operations. :-)

I guess Bin Laden has an open invitation because he's not on the list.

U.S. officials have said that four to eight al Qaeda-affiliated "foreigners" were killed in the attack, including some Egyptians. The bodies were quickly removed by accomplices and buried elsewhere, knowledgeable sources have said…Pakistani officials have said that "four or five" foreign fighters were killed in the strike, along with 18 civilians, including five children and five women.

Coop comment: 18 seems to keep popping up, as in 18 “innocent” civilians. Five women and five children can be reasonably assumed to be innocents, leaving us with eight likely terrorists and their supporters. So you can see why the U.S. officials keep coming out with up to eight killed.

Coop, I'm not an accountant or a math teacher, so maybe I don't get it...

If Pakistani officials say 4 or 5 foreign fighters were killed along with 18 civilians, that would be a total of 22-23. And if there were 5 women and 5 children killed, that would leave 12-13 "unclassified" dead folk. So, maybe we killed more bad guys than even the 8 that U.S. officials are talking about?

A girl can wish, anyway.

Yeah, in the paragraph I listed I can see your confusion. A lot of reports initially listed only 18 casualties. Then some came out with 4-5 dead terrorists included in those 18. Now we're seeing like up above, dead terrorist PLUS 18 innocent civilians. Only I ain't buyin' it. I think 18 people total were killed, but a lot of them weren't so innocent.
