In 2005, during filming of a Syriana scene in which he is tortured while tied to a chair, the chair was accidentally kicked over.
Clooney hit his head on the concrete floor, tearing his dura mater (outer most membrane, next to the skull, protecting the brain and spinal cord). His doctors dismissed his complaints until his nose began leaking cerebrospinal fluid.
I guess there was more damage than doctors thought (truly sad as well, as there wasn't much upstairs for him to begin with).

That fluid was the last drop of his humility leaking out.

Meanwhile in a related development, Clooney's leftwing MSM newscaster male parental unit and sperm donor to his mom, was defeated in his Congressional race in Kentucky probably because George was too business betraying his country in other ways to tour the district with dad in their liberal limousine.
However, it must be said to Clooney's fantasy benefit that he was depressed over SCOTUS "selecting" Dubya, Diebold offsetting the graveyard Demonrat vote, the exercise of testosterone by Dubya, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, et al., unresolved romantic efforts in ER episodes, the fact that bigotry has prevented societal approval of "marriages" between and among varied species, "global warming," bad weather, the heartbreak of psoriasis, sharing a first name with Dubya, Intelligent Design or intelligent anything else and other outrages that can be blamed on Bush. Since Dubya is at fault, Clooney's comfort zone in fantasyland is not affected.

These actors are so freaking full of themselves they can't even see straight. Right....Kerry lost because he's a huge a hole and the Swift Boat guys are the ones who ultimately buried him. Clooney is an insignificant crappy actor!

I kinda liked the movie where he played a hillbilly idiot. I thought that was pretty good, and I liked the music, It was a funny movie. He was perfectly type cast as an idiot who thought he was smarter than the rest.

That was filmed in my area. "O Brother, Where Art Thou". Several people I used to work with got hired as extras. I have first had accounts that George is a big, pretentious a-hole.
That was a good movie. I doubt he had to flex his acting ability very much, though.

[Methinks] George has been kissing the blarney stone. The Blarney Stone is believed to imbue its votaries the gift of delivering smooth flattering talk, deceptive nonsense. Arguably, Bill Clinton kissed the Blarney Stone.
Clooney is merely suffering from megalomania. The Dems best hope for reversing the last election was to reverse about 10,000 votes in Ohio. If George Clooney had campaigned day and night, door to door from Columbus to Cincinnati to Cleveland, does he really think he could have persuaded 10,000 lonely spinsters to change their votes from W to J-F'ing-K?
BYW, methinks it behooves us to avoid anachronism.

It would have been physically impossible to fit those two swollen heads (Kerry's and Clooney's) on a single train. Why is it that ego is inversely related to ability?

Dear Georgie,
Guess what?
You're not that important! Really, you're not!!
Trust us, you are nothing more than a fart in a windstorm.
What a dimwit.

Wow, you are indeed a master strategerist! Brilliant idea for the smartest woman in the world!
To: texassizednightcrawler
Golly! I wonder if I hurt Kerry's chance of being elected because I snubbed his offer of a train ride.
I'm probably smarter than George.

It's interesting that you referred to George as "Such a clown." His name from now on is to be changed to George Clowney.
