"One has to suppose the senator does not believe people can ever mature, or admit to their errors, or simply deal with mistakes in an admirable way."

Well, Teddy the Swimmer doesn't, so he probably assumes that no one else does, either.

These DemonRats have no shame...

Hey dude, I hit the 85th + percentile on the GRE with a horrible hangover using two thirds of the allotted time, took the ACT once as a HS junior with a composite score of 31 (made a 24 in history, so you guess the rest), and passed the EIT exam on the first try(also over 85% score) in half the time allotted because I became hungry during the morning session and felt the urge to see my girlfriend that afternoon. I have used notes during every public speech I have ever made just so I dont forget anything. That being said, I don't sit there wearing my bifocals looking at my notes for every word. I'm not bragging on myself since I'm just a hillbilly Mech. Engr. and part of the second generation of my family to graduate from college. The first was my mother.

Compared to the rest of the Senate as a whole (hole....lol), Kennedy is about average. True conservatives leave him in their mental dust, but compared to the RINOS and Dems, he's a mental giant. How he, Leahy, Byrd, Kerry, Harkin, Schumer et al keep being elected by what are supposed to be the smartest voters in this country is beyond me. Maybe that group of voters are really just educated beyond their intelligence, which seems to have occurred at around the fifth grade. Most stopped sometime during kindergarten due to their repeated protests of "not fair".

What Senator Kennedy seems to be saying to me is that if he had it to do over since he left Mary Jo to die the way she did the first time he would do the same thing all over again. SO BE IT Teddy!
