""Sadly, the legacy of Republican rule has been the fundamental degradation of our democratic institutions and the abandonment of our core principles," Slaughter said."

These Democrats are not lying when they say the Republicans are responsible for degrading and abandoning what they view as "democratic" principles ----- "principles" such as pornography, abortion, special rights for sexual deviants, judicial leglislating, free condoms for every public schooler, and the outlawing of the Holy Name of God, to mention a few.

Sometimes things run smoother if real criminals are in charge.

The Democrats have done a fairly good job of corrupting Congress. And they've been at it longer.

"The 10-term congresswoman said..."

The National Political Awareness Test (NPAT) asks candidates which items they will support if elected.

Abortions should always be legal.

Eliminate National missile defense.

Should marriage be restricted to a union only between a man and a woman? Answer: NO

Require that crimes based on gender, sexual orientation, and disability be prosecuted as federal hate crimes.

Maintain and strengthen the current level of enforcement of existing federal restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns.

I'm telling you if the Republicans let the loudmouth Dems make off like their party wasn't a part of this with their usual silence I will seriously reconsider voting Republican this time. I will go back to my Libertarian roots because I am getting disgusted with the b*lls they show for war, but not for defending themselves in America!!

It's not as if the House were clean and ethical when the 'Rats controlled it. Quite to the contrary. Remember the House Bank Scandal?

Slaughter said, "Together, America can do better."

She is my representative and she makes me violently ill every time she opens her trap.

We can do better without her and all of her kind.

The 10-term congresswoman said her party will "uphold the highest standards of integrity."

That is quite hilarious.
