I believe the Heavens Gate mother ship will be in Earth orbit that week.
Liberals hate changing flight plans at the last minute.

You'll need an air conditioner -- they operate at about 400 degrees F. The guys installing it onto the spacecraft have to wear insulated gloves. Or is that the guys who installed it -- I'm not sure if it's installed yet or not...

but with plans to put nuclear reactors on the Moon to power bases there in the coming years, NASA will be launching a host of these missions. One thing we have learned is that sooner or later, space technology can fail. Are these kooks worried about the CariBoo on the Moon?? Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops

End the capitalist exploitation of outer space! Down with the American imperialst invasion of Pluto! Hands off the Kuiper Belt! Ban nuclear energy in space! Make all of outer space a radiation-free zone! While we are at it, ban the wheel -- it is a tool of human exploitation over nature!
What idiots. This proves that there are still cavemen among us.

I can see protesting Galileo, which had both RTG's and a grand tour of the inner solar system, including
two> Earth fly-bys, but
Magellan?
That craft was solar powered. the only thng I can think of is that they mistook 'radar' for 'radioisotope'.
To: jmcenanly
It was the Galileo RTG's they were protesting.

You'd think they'd be grateful that we were getting the Pu 238 as far from Earth as humanly possible
