What has he ever done except get elected to the senate along with many other fakes.

1 - Noboby with a name like his will ever become President.

2 - Is that his original name or is he another fake like Inglebert Humperdink?

Well, we knew that certain factions in the Democrat Party were grooming Obama for an important symbolic function on the national stage even before he was elected.

I say "symbolic" because I think they are using him. I doubt whether they will permit him to advance to a position of real power. He'd better watch his back and not let his "friends" push him forward too far, or they will use him and drop him like a hot potato.

"we are still not at the point to elect someone with a "strange" sounding name."

You are very kind.

I'd put it this way: "we are still not at the point to elect someone with a name that could belong to any Islamofascist murderer."

This has got to piss off Rep. Ford. He has always seen himself as the Great Black Hope.

I can't stand Obama, and unfortunately he is my Senator. I think he is really a lightweight and I don't find his speeches impressive at all. It makes me gag when I hear people talk about how great he is.

I do however, cringe when people start slamming him for things that I don't think should be relevant, like his name or for being a Muslim, which he is NOT. That picture of him with Osama is silly, because it doesn't look a thing like him.

There are plenty of things to criticize him for. If you take one of his speeches you can pick it apart and talk about all the things that aren't true. He is pretending to be a moderate, when he is true liberal. But if people on the right attack him on the more superficial things, others are just going to be inclined to support him, IMO.

There's no need to attack Obama - just ask his supporters what exactly he's accomplished in life. The list is very short.

Actually, the non-campaign the Republicans ran against him may work to his disadvantage. Without opposition, he did not have a chance to sound like a true liberal idiot. If his next campaign is in 2008 on the national level, he will truly be exposed as Senator Empty Suit.

A Fabian Socialist. Much of the criticism directed against Alan keyes for his political skills was legitimate, but it had as much to do with the chaotic nature of his selection and the torpedoing of his campaign by the Illinois Republican establishment as anything else. But anyone who watched the three debates that he had with Obama would realize that Keyes dazzling debating power had Obama looking like the empty suit that he really is.

All the sources I can fine have him listed as a Christian. Do you have other information you could share?

The guy is part Muslim

Islam is a belief system, you are either Muslim or you're not. Apparently this guy is not.

I'd even drop the Fabian. Obama is a socialist period. Down with OPM should be his theme song. I don't see it any time soon, but it's apparent that the democrat machine is doing its best to groom this guy for higher office.

Muslim isn't a race. Where did you get that? A Muslim is a follower of Islam, which is structured as a religion.

I would think of him as a likely running mate as Hillary's VP candidate, but that slot is more likely to go to Gov Warner of Va, as Hillary will have no problem in Illinois, and will win 90+% of the black vote on her own.

What you say is true, and GOP success in recent years can probably, in part, be attributed to the new sources of information.

But the mainstream media outlets still reach more people than anyother single sources. So I don't totally discount their abilty to influence some of those undecideds we hear about ad nauseam every 4 years. And I think its a safe bet that their advocacy for Hillary (and Obama) will shatter all bounds of decency.

Millard Milhouse Van Buren...isn't a strange name for his time. Now it would sound a bit dufus.

John Q public...would probably listen and think he sounds just fine. I find him to be a political whore...but I'm also able to see that he's a "charming" politician, with limited national appeal because of his very foreign and strange sounding name.
