The same sort of pacifrauds opposed the US entry into World War II against the National Socialists ... UNTIL their sect of Communism (Stalinism) was betrayed by Hitler .. then they became hawks. Hypocrites, frauds, collaborators.

The PCA and OP are still Biblical.

Don't forget the ARPs.

The Presbyterian Church USA is consistently losing members, but the headquarters in Louisville does have a lot of money from past investments. Many of their churches are in cities and in danger of closing. They have sunk so low they give pastors abortion coverage in their medical insurance.

Yes, they are losing members. And the "conservative" churches are gaining members.

In 2000, a study showed that the Presbyterian church (USA) lost 11.6 percent of its members in the decade 1990 to 2000 (and I suspect that rate is increasing).

Conversely, Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) GAINED 42.2 percent in that same time period.

Don't they see WHY?

The PCUSA has been taken over at the highest levels by pro-choice Democrats. They're hostile to Israel because of the wall they're building, and they don't like Pres. GWB. You can't talk to them just like you can't talk to Howard Dean.

I left the PCUSA and became a member of the Wesleyan denomination, which is pro-life and conservative. The PCUSA is never going to change. In fact, they'd welcome George Soros as a member.

Clifton Kirkpatrick has joined with Sen. Harry Reid. Claiming it is to "achieve our common goals," the Senate Democratic Caucus has joined hands with leaders of mainline denominations.

The Mainline Protestant church leaders do not even try to hide their bias.

Should there be any surprise in seeing a bunch of Democrat Presbyterians visiting Hezbollah to stir things up in the Mid East?

Traitors like these must be a small minority.

If it wasnt for FR and knowing there are so many here who still love and support this great country, the future would look much more bleak to me.

I am thankful for Free Republic. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
