I saw this public service announcement on TV yesterday, and it's really been bothering me. You can watch it yourself by clicking on the link above. It starts out fine enough...Muslims condone violence, yada yada yada...but listen to what the last woman says...she says...ISLAM is about peace and JUSTICE.
Sorry, that's troubling to me. And I think it should be troubling to everybody (as well we know). What exactly is their definition of Justice? Well, I think I know. So even when they think they're doing good, they still can't hide who they are.
Please watch the commercial and tell me if you think I'm overreacting. Thank you.

May those who think Islam is a "religion of peace and tolerance" wake up before it's too late.

did you watch the commercial? I find it very troubling and the fact they just can't say without stipulation, that "TERRORISM" is wrong means that the whole religion is the enemy. Please watch it and let me know what you think.
Islam is about justice. It is a legal system as much as it is a "religion".
It sets up a triple tierd system of justice. One that puts muslims at the top of legal protection. Then Jews/Christians (people of the book), and then everyone else.

The terrorists have always said that 9/11 was Justice for the way Americans force their values on the rest of the world and for their "occupation" of Muslim Countries. So, this commercial merely reiterates that viewpoint, but in a touch-feely dumbed-down American way.
Has anyone else seen this commercial? I'm in Arizona, and I was wondering if they're playing it nationally.
I haven't seen/heard the ad (PSA???) and even without viewing/hearing it I know that you are not over-reacting. Under-reacting, if anything.
I just emailed CAIR from their web site and told them they should make a PSA thanking our troops for dying for their miserable 'religion'. I also told them they should clean up their own back yard first before they can preach to us.

That's a good idea...I think I'll do that myself. I was thinking...what other religion would ever, ever describe themselves that way. It's creepy and scary.
My sister-in- law in Jacksonville, Fla told me that the local newspaper(Times-Union) has a web site that runs banner type ads that say.... that you have been misled about islam... call this number 904-534-3333 and get the correct information about islam.
I called that number and POLITELY, gave them THE CORRECT information about islam and hung up.
