You forgot bloodlust.
While the loss of the great works of art in the Louvre museum would be a sad event the control of France's nuclear arsenal by IslamicFascist would be an absolute disaster.
I am paused: You are right. That is an interesting number.
"Islamic fascists forbid the Arts. "
I am somewhat concerned for the great masterworks in France, both architectural and of other kinds.
How perplexing--to think an entire country would throw away its national identity. Note to self.
*I share your concern about France's masterworks. Afterall, in deference to Muslim/Islamic sensitivity, England recently outlawed Piggy Banks and all porcine images! Remember, the Nazi's raided the Louvre. Goering was obsessed with accumulating (stealing) Europe's great art works. However, the Muslim terrorists would destroy all semblances of western civilization.
Take note: It's time to wake-up and smell the advancing rot.

Yeah, they're not exactly what you would call a "fun group of people" are they.
*Hummm...a dark and dreadful cult. Conform or die!
Playing a little "Rhapsody In Blue"?
I loved his music in "An American In Paris". Watching Gene Kelly dance to it was wonderful.
One of my all time favorite feel good movies.
*Gad! When music was musical and movies were classics! Gene Kelly dancing! American in Paris! (Pity poor Paris now) Rhapsody in Blue! I've been playing "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess on me flute. Also, singing (eek!!!) the song in a blues voice. I would just love to hear Queen Leteesha (sp) sing "Summertime." I am not black nor blue enough to do the song justice. Gershwin is just beautiful.
When in a paranoic mode, I am reminded of the Ray Bradbury story "Farhenheit 451" in which committed people memorized all the great written works. If the ravaging horde advances, we might have to memorized all the great musical works before the sheet music hits Islamic's fascistic-censorship bonfire.

And Leslie Caron! She was a real and very good dancer and very charming.
Thank God for CD's. I've got a lot of Bach on CD's. Beethoven, Bartok and another favorite Purcell.
My mom loved Gershwin and played Rhapsody in Blue a lot.
To quote Glenn Gould the great Canadian concert pianist, and not meaning to be blasphemous, "Bach is God." Bach, the god of pure music. You love Purcell too!?! What about that Purcell trumpet voluntary now attributed to Jeremiah Smith?
Yes, thanks to ever-progressing WESTERN CIVILIZATION's technology, its capitalistic ventures and corporate production answering *supply & demand*, we now have CDs as well as PCs.
Being a philosophical conservative, I like to pitch
capitalism when appropriate. : )
(Sour Note: Anti-capitalists Michael Moore and Ward Churchill in REAL LIFE are "dirty" capitalists!)
