Kerry says he still wants to be president
AP ^ | November 17, 2005

Posted on 11/17/2005 10:45:00 PM PST by West Coast Conservative

Senator John Kerry says losing last year's election hasn't soured him on wanting to be president.

Asked if he wanted to run again in 2008, Kerry says it's too early to say. But he added: "Would I like to be president? Yes, obviously."

Kerry made the comments today on C-N-N.

The senator says he won't base his future presidential ambitions on whether other Democrats like Hillary Clinton join the race. During the interview, Kerry also said his vote authorizing President Bush to use military force was a mistake.

He says he'd change his vote knowing what he does today.

I still want to be Miss America - but some wishes just don't come true.

I have $20.00 that says Mrs. Clinton would kick Kerrys butt in any kind of fisticuffs.

Fifty-some-odd percent of the people who voted don't want him to be president. Deal with it.

"The only reason Kerry got as far as he did was because the other nominees kept going insane and becoming unelectable"

That, plus he was in Vietnam. I think he mentioned that a time or two.

"Kerry says he still wants to be president"
And I say he's still a horse's ash. Neither statement is newsworthy.

Senator John Kerry says losing last year's election hasn't soured him on wanting to be president.

His losing last year's election hasn't soured me on wanting him to release his full military records, including his UNDESIRABLE DISCHARGE from the navy.

He says he'd change his vote knowing what he does today.

"I actually voted for the authorization to use force in Iraq... before I voted against it!"

So what else is new...

Not a flip flop...its nuance: he's not sure he wants the bother, but he sure wants the power.

Sorry, J F'n, coronations are only for royalty... and Hillary!.

"Would I like to be president? Yes, obviously."

Yeah, yeah, okay John. And I'd like to have a pony.

However, the difference is that the odds of me getting a pony are greater.

Excellent suggestion...he certainly looks French, particularly with that Democrat white flag of surrender that he's carrying these days.

The senator says he won't base his future presidential ambitions on whether other Democrats like Hillary Clinton join the race.

He'll base it on whether or not Teresa threatens to cut him off financially if he does.

Bring it on. I miss the fun.

I didn't realize he was running for the "Ministry of Silly Walks!"

Maybe he's confused... We don't have one. That's in Europe. Then again, wasn't he always saying how much more like Europe the US should be?

Mark
