Kerry says he still wants to be president
AP ^ | November 17, 2005

Posted on 11/17/2005 10:45:00 PM PST by West Coast Conservative

Senator John Kerry says losing last year's election hasn't soured him on wanting to be president.

Asked if he wanted to run again in 2008, Kerry says it's too early to say. But he added: "Would I like to be president? Yes, obviously."

Kerry made the comments today on C-N-N.

The senator says he won't base his future presidential ambitions on whether other Democrats like Hillary Clinton join the race. During the interview, Kerry also said his vote authorizing President Bush to use military force was a mistake.

He says he'd change his vote knowing what he does today.

I want the Rat convention to be on primetime for at least a week. Imagine Dirty Harry coming on the tube 7 straight nights telling us we need the Rats to lead

John still wants to be President?

I would vote for him as president of an outhouse in Vietnam ( where his true friends are) suspended over a pit of rapidly growing bamboo viper snakes, with him continuously sitting over the hole, feeding them with his excrement. Needless to say the snakes would grow rapidly, with dire consequences.Appropriate for the brave shooter of a 15 year old boy.

Kudos to the Swift Boat Veterans for my feelings on this!

Sure Senator Kerry,

Have another go at it.

But, just answer one question publicly?

Will you pull the troops out of Iraq or not?

Because you won't even get nominated by your party if you don't take an anti-war stance. You don't have the courage to answer this directly, and it's the same reason that Bush should push RIGHT NOW for a vote on this issue. It's time for Demoncrats to put up or shut up!

If you win the vote, and pull out our troops, then all of history is yours to explain. All those dead soldiers in vain, all the innocent Iraqis that will die after your foolhardy, juvenille tactics overcome what's left of your common sense. This will be the last opportunity a Democrat will ever have to control DC dialogue because everyone with even a quarter of a brain can see already that pulling the troops out would be an unmitigated disaster.

If GWB wins the vote, then shut the ever-livin hell up! For the rest of his term. No nuances, no excuses, no ifs ands or buts. Stand behind your decisions..and your country for once.

C'mon Mr Kerry...

CALL FOR A VOTE NOW. PUT YOUR REAL VIEWS OUT THERE..NOW!

He says he'd change his vote knowing what he does today...

Does that mean he knows less today than he did then?

:O)

Kerry says he still wants to be president

Kerry needs to move to France, President Chiraq is weak and would be easy to defeat.

Kerry can tell the frogs all about his plan for France that he'll unveil only after he's elected.

Kerry is a much better fit in France than here in the US, it's a win-win for everyone!

Kerry still wants to be president? How coincidental! I'd still like him to be shot as the traitor he is!

"... he'd change his vote knowing what he does today."

That's funny .. over on another thread he says, he'd still vote to use force!

So I guess this is another I "voted for it before I voted against it" routines ..?? The guy's still in LA LA LAND with his drunken sot for a wife.

John Kerry and Hellary Clinton should run. It will be the first 2 women ticket.

Please run again, Senator. There's still a lot of Liberal money out there to be flushed down another losing ticket.

I think it would be great if he ran again. It would give the Republicans an opportunity to win big again. :-)
