"I don't think so. He was suing for $36 million for those 18 years in prison."
That would buy him a lot of candy bars during his upcoming 99 year stay in prison

Sept. 2, 1982: Pours gas and oil on a cat and throws it into a bonfire, watching the animal burn and die. Charged with cruelty to animals.
Whoa, what a degenerate! I was willing to entertain the idea that perhaps he was being set up, but this tidbit added to everything else makes it look as though he is most likely a psycho sadist. I feel terrible for the poor woman who was killed and her family.

Wisconsin Circuit Court Access is a good way to find out past offenses of people.

There isn't much, but this is all official stuff.

No problem, I will keep you and a couple other locals in mind as this goes thru the legal process. Please let me know as well of other nuggets as it plays out.

No promises but I'll try and make a mental note.
May need to start an Innocents Project "Successes" Ping List at this rate. ;-)

Thanks, I live in Mid Wisconsin, and am very interested in this case.
On a side note, her brother Michael works for the Packers org. as a videographer.

I wonder if we should now suspect that there's a flaw in the DNA testing system?

Please, don't go there. Can you imagine how many new court cases would be ressurected?
