sufficient to yank 401 c (3) credentials.

That should be '501'.

Someone who knocks on people's doors for no reason at all.

A reasonable facsimile thereof: What do you get when you cross an Episcopalian with a Jehovah's Witness?

Someone who goes door-to-door, but doesn't know why.

It is ironic that the Reverend is objecting to tax cuts for the ordinary American, while at the same time claiming tax free status for his Church.

All Saint's is two blocks from where I live. My impression is that the Church is definately more a political organization than a religious organization!

Thanks to Alia and hiho hiho for spotting this.

Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams.

FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off this moderately high-volume ping list (typically 3-9 pings/day).
This list is pinged by sionnsar, Huber and newheart.

I assume there is more to the story than this pastor is telling.

Keep in mind the IRS cannot explain due to confidentiality. Who knows what the problem is, all we have is a liberals word.

They may be overstepping, here is an extract from their stratgegic plan

Peace & Justice
1. Educate and engage the parish and larger community on core Peace & Justice issues and actions.
2. Restructure the Peace & Justice Committee, consistent with the recommendations of the 2004 Program Review Committee.
3. Identify, prioritize and advance a public policy, research and advocacy agenda.
4. Develop and implement an operational plan to address key Peace & Justice policies and processes.

When interviewed, the cleric that made the disputed sermon, said he would do it again and with more vigor.
What ever happened to clerical self control and humility?

About time they started cracking down on these moonbats. Now lets get the Black churches where the Democrats go to harangue the voters and get their pictures in the paper.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Of course it's Episcopal. I'm still hoping we can recover from years of liberal clergy. Sort of like France, I guess.

All Saints probably planned this although it's hard to figure out the motive. They're a large enough congregation to cover the costs of any tussle with the IRS.

Fr. Regas is retired and was quite popular when he was still the main priest.

The church is high profile and always has been. South Africa Bishop Desmond Tutu has been a guest speaker many times. It's such a large church with high attendance that it's hard to get a seat. There are some political conservatives who attend although they remain low profile.

It was finally my association with this church that made me a Jew.

Congrats. My association made me decide that I can freelance and don't need an organization or a building.
