Well said. Something else I noticed: the msm keeps portraying the right wing as "far right extremists". I believe we have a tiny extreme right part, a very large conservative part and a tiny group of moderates. I really don't think the average rightwinger falls in line with Guiliani or Schwarzneggar.

Meanwhile, the rats are probably 80% pure libnut and 20% complete commmie. They have annhilated their "moderates", as far as I can see.

I agree with that assessment.

However, I don't agree that the "kook" left is 80%. Actually, the MoveOn and the DU bunch are not that big a voting group - however, they are controlling a lot of the money - which is why Reid is pandering to them. Rush said the "kook" lefties were overjoyed at Reid's actions - and thought this meant an end to the Bush admin. Which proves the dumbing down of our school children has had an effect on some.

I'd reverse the numbers - they are 20% libnut or "kook" and 40% socialist/communist. The rest of the democrats are very silent and a lot of them have switched over to independant because they want to vote, but they don't consider themselves repubs. And then, we have a few good dems like Zell Miller.

" WP is trying to make us believe that the left's voters are so angry they are going to the polls and wipe us out. " ...

That is, if they rely on their organized voter fraud united front.

The liberals/democrats of today can not, and will not win in honest elections, or in the arena of ideas, so they have to cheat, steal, lie in every way that they can get away with.

If the GOP is in trouble, it's because of the wild spending and the open borders. The bashing on Israel by Rice/Bush doesn't help anything.

Yes, you right, but, I need to clarify it a bit more.
They're not a large part of the voting block for the left, but ? they have the influence, power, control , AND ? rhetoric, of the D.N.C and the Democrat party, and that's not including the money influence part.

They don't have to switch to IND to vote that way though. Maybe some of the rats are silent, and simply vote GOP or IND or other, but stay registered rat so they can vote in their primaries.

My point was...the rats are being totally controlled by the screaming moonbat far lefties. This is where they seem to be getting funded (Soros, moveon, leftist foreign nations probably). I don't see how any of the closer to center ones will get heard.

I also don't think the so-called moderate lefties are large in number the way they used to be. Somehow many seem to have shifted more left. They are like the supposed "good muslims"...who never come out in protest against muslim terrorists.

As Rush has been telling us for the last 2 weeks, let them talk, and talk some more, they are just becoming more, and looking more " KOOK FRINGE " to the American " MAIN STREAM " .. and they continue in their delusional dreams.

That's correct. Their power and influence - DNC, Hollywood, etc. makes them appear to be a much larger group than they really are.

When the left (like Kennedy and Schumer) say it was the extreme right wing who is angry - they are assuming we are in the same pickle. We're not. Our BASE IS CONSERVATIVE, with a small portion of moderates (too many for my blood), and a small group of non-influencial right wingers.

I think that's the difference. Remember, the dems use "projection" - always accusing the repubs of doing things which the dems are actually doing. If you listen closely to what they say - they are actually describing themselves and their own situations. Krauthammer explained that .. which I already knew .. but it was nice to hear it from a professional.

Yup... the old Dems/MSM/Libs reliance on " Perception and Projection " in which, they are built out of a house of cards on sinking sand in a Cat -5 hurricane.

The best way to prove someone is an idiot is to give them a microphone.

The only problem is that many fools among the sheeple buy this crap....a lie becomes perception...and for many..perception..reality....(but is this one in which WE all have a small part in countering)

Notice that the right has come back to power along with the inception of the new media....free speech for REAL...not filtered and packaged and spun...

Their ideals cannot survive in the face of reality....

Our job is to keep laying reality on them....as hard as we would lay lead into an advancing hoard of islamo facists...

"I believe we have a tiny extreme right part, a very large conservative part and a tiny group of moderates. "

The so-called "extreme right" is actually what used to be defined as conservative. What passes for "conservative" lately is actually moderate or centrist with president Bush being a prime example. What you perceive as "moderate" is actually liberal or left of center, personified by the element here on FR that supports politicians such as Giulianni and McCain. Conservatism keeps getting dumbed down as our society continually moves leftwards toward socialism.

This poster frankly doesn't believe media polls anymore.

Who participates? Why? Have you or anyone you know (ever) been called by one of the major polling organizations in such a poll? Why do they disproportionately represent democrats in their sampling?

This week in Los Angeles, the local NBC affiliate KNBC hosted a public discussion with CA Governor Schwarzenegger and several other politicians -- broadcase statewide. The station evidently spend $20,000 to an outside firm, to allegedly arrange what was supposed to be a representative "sampling" of the Los Angeles population, who were there to ask questions on their own personal concerns.

It was a complete setup.

The station ended up formally apologizing to the Governor. Planted in the "representative" audience there, asking questions, were no less than three active Democratic party operatives, and one democratic candidate!

That sort of thing happens so often, it's become cliche. Memogate. Dan Rather. The entire media is so glibly and so profoundly biased, nothing they say can be taken at face value. Ever. That includes every single "media poll".

They keep spinning. Like those long corkscrew tentpegs, slowly digging themselves further down into the ground.

The dems also try to get you to watch their right hand, so you don't see what their left hand is doing. The old shell game.

Our household had proof tonight that these polls are hogwash.

Around 6:30pm the phone rang and as usual we let the answering machine go through the regular routine as we screen all our calls. Low and behold it was a political poll. (first one ever) We didn't bother picking up the phone, we just listened. The caller went through the questions one by one and since there was no-one answering he answered them himself like he was just verify what someone on the other end was saying.
It was better than any comedy skit we've seen or heard in years. He even went through the routine of thanking the machine for taking the time talking to him and being so helpful.
What a farce.
