"Police arrested 203 people including a 10-year-old boy, who was caught clutching a bottle of petrol."

A lawn boy has been profiled. Was there a towel on his to absorb the sweat?

Better yet, will the UN fine France for violating the accord? Enquiring minds want to know.

Anything stand out glaringly missing in the article?

One word.

Muslim.

Yet while the violence has dominated French media all week, most citizens are otherwise unaffected by the tumult - an indication of just how detached from mainstream French life those living on the troubled housing estates have become.

They look at their country burning to the ground and they can barely stifle a yawn. I would say they will get what they deserve, but we will have to take action to prevent their nuclear arsenal from falling into the hands of the Islamists.

Maybe they'd stop burning things if Clinton apologized.

How will France be able to meet the Koyoto Agreement?

Tisk, tisk. Burning rubber tires; certainly a carcinogen. Paint fumes. Petrol. It's a walking code violation. Perhaps France can put in a call to the U.N.. After meeting for say, 7 or 8 months, the U.N. can issue a statement condemning the action of these youths. That should do the trick!

"Shot to kill and deport what's left. what's the problem?"

Philip, we are not talking about taking the trash out and placing it in a god forsaken dump, of all things. Do you have any compassion, man?

Why, you must be some animal, or maybe you have been inhaling steel mill fumes for way too long.

How can I say this...Tolerance is a virtue and I, for one, will do everything in my power to help these poor souls through there torment.

If only I could find the hose to put out my grandmother I would help you with this venture. Oh, crap. She has done it now....she has set off my smoke alarm....

"He's disrespected us, which is a declaration of war," one young man told the Sunday Telegraph as he surveyed one of Clichy's housing estates that was dotted with piles of ash and broken glass. "Those guys, our friends, died for nothing and we're being dissed. Someone has to say sorry."

This is the lexicon of losers.

It reminded me of the gangbangers here in L.A.

I went to LeFigaro to get the French coverage and found this ditty:
http://www.lefigaro.fr/societe/20051105.FIG0002.html

"L'islam ne joue pas un rôle déterminant dans la propagation des troubles"

Right. Islam isn't the cause of this. Further in the body of the text is the news about cops lobbing teargas in a mosque, apparently insulting the burkababes and just making comments that set off more nastys.

This is the interesting quote and one that somebody needs to analyze:

"De leur côté, «les islamistes radicaux ont plutôt intérêt à ce que le calme revienne, pour agir tranquillement», analyse Alain Bauer, président de l'Observation national de la délinquance. Les cités de Seine-Saint-Denis où l'islam radical est bien implanté n'ont d'ailleurs pas flambé."

The radical Islamists want calm to return, in their best interest.

What floors me is that they know the Islamofascists are there, that they are watching, and don't think they are coordinating this thing?

Admittedly, my French is not the best, but from all the articles in LeFigaro, I'm getting the impression that the French authorities are bailing this boat with Swiss cheese.

"What do decades of idle submission and spineless obeisance under the guise of tolerance reap?"

Good question!! One we, as a nation, might ask of ourselves!!

On the whole, we seem to be oblivious to what is actually happening right here on our own soil, let alone what is happening elsewhere.
Sure, we all hear about the "protests" and we shake our heads and mutter about what a bunch of idiots these people are - but do we ever look closely at who these idiots are, what they are protesting or, more importantly, what they are advocating?

The following is just a small collection of images collected from recent protests here in the US -

I refrained from including the more vulgar images but this is a fair representation of the philosophies embraced by the base the cRats are currently grooming and catering to.

All they have to do is kill a few of these rioters, and the riots will stop.

" Could we have a little tabloid journalism here, a little sensationalist exageration?"

This is from the Daily Telegraph, one of the most respected broadsheets in the United Kingdom. It wouldn't go overtly sensationalistic, would it?

But then, given how historically Britain has viewed France, it may not be surprising if the British go hyperbolic...

Ping to Ivan!
