.... his Italian descent is tantamount to character assassination and ethnic stereotyping.

We are not amused.

One of the best lines in the original movie. I love those three movies. It makes me think of my life, not that I'm in that business, but it is easy to remember where I was when the different version of the Godfather were released. "Paulie, that stutze, he sold out the old man. Get rid of him".

And there are millions of Italian Democrats who don't care and will still continue to vote pro-union, pro-abortion and pro-democrat. That's why the DNC will continue to get away with it.

In today's America, although it has been poisoned by this perversion of political correctness, the elites and the thought police do not find it at all wrong or toxic to disparage and defame Italian Americans. Look at the way Italian Americans are portrayed in movies, tv shows and commercials - either they are mafia or they are uneducated, low class slobs. It's disgusting, the pc media and other sob's would never think of showing any other ethnic or racial group the way it does to Italian Americans. 99.9 percent of us are good, hard working people and Sam Alito is one of them and he will be an excellent addition to the Court.

There are more Italian-American bankers and lawyers than there are mobsters, organ grinders, or garbagemen. The stereotype of the blue collar Italian guy in the wife beater is 30-40 years out of date, and even that applied to a small portion of the population.

According to the media, it is OK to put down Italians, Cubans, and white southerners.

http://www.answers.com/topic/rhode-island

"Rhode Island claims to have more Italian-Americans than any other state in the nation. It is unknown whether or not this is true. The state that is considered to be the most Italian-American state in America is New Jersey followed closely by New York, but Rhode Island has a higher percentage of Italian-Americans than either New Jersey or New York."

Rhode Island, isn't that the home of RINO Linoln Chaffee?

Italians are not among the groups that are designated minorities or victims. Neither are Poles, Irish, or Swedes. You have to be black, Hispanic, or a south sea islander. Or homosexual.

That's why the leftists had to come up with that special code word, "ethnics," because they couldn't grant these groups minority status, with all the political perks that go with that designation.

Women qualify as a designated minority, even though they are a majority of the population, but ethnics don't. Go figure. That's what happens when the Dems get to make all the rules.

"There are more Italian-American bankers and lawyers than there are mobsters, organ grinders, or garbagemen."

That probably holds true for every other ethnicity as well. Especially the organ-grinder thing---you don't see too many of those anymore. : )

I guess that attacking judicial candidates based solely on their Catholic faith didn't work for the DNC with Roberts, Pryor, etc., so they decided to change their strategy and hired Jimmy Malone from The Untouchables to see what Alito is made of:

Jim Malone: Why do you want to join the force?

George Stone: To protect the property and citizenry of...

Jim Malone: Ah, don't waste my time with that bullshit. Where you from, Stone?

George Stone: I'm from the south-side.

Jim Malone: Stone. George Stone. That's your name? What's your real name?

George Stone: That is my real name.

Jim Malone: Nah. What was it before you changed it?
George Stone: Giuseppe Petri.

Jim Malone: Ah, I knew it. That's all you need, one thieving wop on the team.

George Stone: Hey, what's that you say?

Jim Malone: I said that you're a lying member of a no good race.

George Stone: (pulling his gun) Much better than you, you stinking Irish pig.

Jim Malone: Oh, I like him.

Very true, but the stereotypes persist. Which reminds me, where are my hubcaps? ;-)

Good post, Esq.
