I too widk that Sandy Berger would get the penalty that is comming to him; and I wish that any truly guilly Republicans would get that is coming to them. Beyond that, I wish that all the people who want to place undue blame 0nto President Bush should shut the hell up.

As a condition precedent to even convening a Grand Jury in this matter the prosecutor should have asked two questions: 1) Is Valerie Plame a member of the class of persons protected by the statute? and 2) Is her employment status known to persons outside the intelligence community?
An answer of "no" to either question and Mr. Fitzgerald should have folded his tent and saved the taxpayers millions of dollars. Anything after that is all "gotcha" stuff.
