Thank you moog for sharing your opinion.
I feel the same way you do.
I must stress this very point, though:
It is legal in the United States of America to celebrate CHRISTmas in private and in public.
I must stress this second point which must be said out loud:
It is legal in the United States of America to be a Christian.

Grump grump. "Christmas all year" is turning into a real drag.

Good statements. Having lived in a country where it hardly is--I can see your point, that's for sure.

Until we all wise up and stop spending money during the Christmas season the retailers could care less what it is called.
Perfect, Mears! If "they" got the word that Christians are no longer buying during this time, I believe things would change quickly. Hurt them in the pocket - it always works. Besides the retailers and manufacturers, those liberal rags depend on the fourth quarter revenue from increased advertising.
Christians can give to the church who gives money and/or food to the less fortunate. Much more important than buying 'things'. Besides, whose birthday is it anyway?

But, but, but...........it's a federal holiday!

You seem to be missing my point. I am well aware of the etymologies of both "holiday" and "hallowe'en." My point is that liberals never have any problem with halloween, even when it comes during Ramadan or during the month with all the Jewish fall holidays. My recommendation was a mere jab at the hypocrisy of the liberals who would thus be shown for the hypocrites they are.
Perhaps I should have used the "sarcasm" tag?

Moral Absolutes Ping.
The goal of professional atheists and secularists is to kill God. They can't, but they can kill their own spiritual progress and that of others who live in the godless world they want to create.
Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Here is a delightfully ridiculous greeting I invented for for the EPC (Equisitely politically correct) crowd at work ...Have a pleasant winter solstice. Funny thing, is that an exceptionally EPC person asked my permission to use the phrase in her homemade holiday cards. She was delighted with the inclusive nature of greeting friends and family with ... Have a pleasant winter solstice.

Sooner or later the Chandala types will touch a nerve. In our social structure the crazies-(Berserkers)-go first, after a little while the rest follow.

Look what's going on in our school systems since they ban
the Ten Commandment's from being posted, compared to when the Ten Commandment's were posted. I thank god for the work place he has put me in. When we have a pot luck supper, pic nic or anything our boss will ask someone to pray to god giving our lord thank's and all the glory for our food. Not alot of companies do this but our's does.
Christmas is the day that god sent jesus unto us, so that we may be saved. The liberals are trying to take our beliefs away and will fail to us true believer's. The liberals need to read romans chapter 1 verse 22. I'm sure everyone will agree. God Bless You All and Merry Christmas
