With Due Respect..that is very unfair.
The young man is Not trained. He would not know the status of rendering honors to a friendly nation under a SOFA agreement or as a memorandum of understanding..He is Not dumb or stupid in any shape way or form.
What he did is excatly what I would have done when I was a delayed enlistee or even today.. The military will train him.. but he was being cautious.
