What a stupid thing to say. Don't argue the facts or positions - just make asinine comments about people being Rats. Conservatives have good reason to be less than thrilled with the current situation.

If you look at recent history, conservatives won the day when the Republicans controlled Congress and the Dems had the Presidency. I actually prefer that scenario to what we have now; the only reason to not support that scenario is because of Supreme Court appointments. Now, GWB has yet again appointed someone without a conservative track-record. Why shouldn't conservatives be upset.

If Bush I had appointed conservative justices, this country would be in much better shape. However, he appointed from weakness and the country has paid the price.

Unfortunately I think way too many people take politics as sports, the Republicans vs. the Democrats and each side roots for their team irregardless of what they do. It is a real shame that we don't have more people trying to hold all of our elected officials accountable rather than just those considered to be part of the other team.

For my part, I intend to send a message to elected national officials by working for the opposition, whoever they are. The current set of politicians are failing miserably and deserve to be fired (only exception would be if Jeb ran - I think he would do a much better job than GWB).

He's an Arab-American. Maybe I should question his motives?

Ephesians 1 (King James Version)

Ephesians 1

1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2. Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8. Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10. That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

"The same liberties that ensure a free society make the innocent vulnerable to those who prevent rights and privileges and commit senseless and cruel acts. Those precious liberties include free speech, freedom to assemble, freedom of liberties, access to public places, the right to bear arms and freedom from constant surveillance. We are not willing to sacrifice these rights because of the acts of maniacs." 1992 Article In Texas Lawyer by "Nominee" Miers

Let's get rid of the common enemy first; once the Sorosites have their Götterdämmerung then the GOP can split off into conservative/libertarian and liberal/populist wings.

You inadvertently pointed out the problem. Bush is a social conservative, business & immigration libertarian, and government-spending liberal.

It is illogical, confusing, and idiotic at the same time. Quite the trifecta!

Farah is as big of a whack job as Doug Thompson is.

I pulled the plugs on both of these GW Back stabbers in Jan 2000 when they started these vicious attacks on GW.

Rush started the same BS this morning and got a phone call from Dick Cheney which did a little bitch slap wakeup call on Rush.

All of these whack jobs left the Republican party over a decade ago, and they aren't worth the spent electrons to read their spew.

Hah. Cheney "bitch slapped" Rush? Not likely.

More like the administration has had to spend the last 18 hours doing damage control for a sub-standard supreme court pick.

No money to the RNC. Donate only to the candidates that pass the test themselves. Let the party know why.

I just joined the Club for Growth.
