Your reading comprehension appears impaired, at least at the time you posted this. Where did I discuss cutting defense spending? Where in any post I have ever posted in FR did I do this? The only person talking about it is you.
Also the total deficit run since 2001 is vastly greater than the associated increase in defense spending. I am not sure where your logic regarding a connection between the two is coming from. Have you considered that increases in non-defense spending may have something to do with the deficit?

thx for replying, I recall specifically reading complaints that mineta/DOT were stalling on this. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that pilots were trained but still lacking a final authorization from DOT to carry.
Apparently you think that allowing the Democrats an even chance is "fair play".
How would you EVER deduce THAT from my correct observation that this country is almost evenly divided? Fair play is not in my dictionary. I loathe democrats.
