"Sheehan now being paid for speaking.."
Does the price include the organ grinder, or do you have to pay extra for him?

Sheehan left before the floor was opened to students for a question-and-answer session. Event moderator Gar Alperovitz, a professor at the university and the founder of the Democracy Collaborative, told students that Sheehan was not well. "She's in the back and very, very ill and I think also upset so she's not going to be coming back." Yeah right, she probably forgot her lines and was afraid to answer questions in real time. However, this was probably her plan all along... making money while bashing the Administration.

"I'm surprised that Gar Alperovitz is still around. That left-wing hack was prominent in socialist circles when I was a college student way back in the Dark Ages! He was old then."
That's interesting - you'd think he'd have given up by now. This embarassing episode might make him think twice about arranging this kind of thing anymore.
