McCain can do the troops a lot of service if he can get our story out. The media love him. This may be the way to do it, I don't know.
Remember: to fight Cindy, we need a media whore on our side!

"I disagree with Miss Sheehan, strongly, on not only her remarks about Iraq, but also Israel, and getting troops out of New Orleans. And I strongly disagree and I will express that."
Why waste your precious time, Mr. McCain. You wouldn't be pandering would you?

McCain is as much of a media whore as she is.
Every media photo and film and audio of the meeting between McCain and CS should be saved and played back during the primaries if and when McCain decides to run for president.

McCain and Sheehan will be meeting at the Media Whore Convention.
Donald Trump is set to be the keynote speaker,
with special appearances by Al Sharpton and Jerry Rivers (aka geraldo Rivera)

He's in good company with the other media whores CS, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. I expect Hillary Rodham and Chuckie Schumer to show up any minute.

McCain has to be held accountable for his actions. The 2008 primaries should be a rude awakening for the Maverick Senator and his wannabe sidekick Chuck Hagel.

The McCain-Sheehan confab represents something of a flip-flop for the Arizona maverick. They should meet in the Waffle House by special invitation from the owner, John Effin Kerry!

Anyone who wants a glimpse of the Other Side of Senator McCain should read The Nightingale's Song by Robert Timberg. May be out of print but I bet you can find it on Amazon.

There's no way that this meeting can be justified. President Bush met with and honored someone he knew to be the mother of a soldier who was killed in action, which was entirely legitimate. Now McCain is agreeing to meet with a lying, foul-mouthed, radical war protestor in front of the cameras, which is a different thing entirely.
Even more egregious is the business with John Kyl. The article tells us that Kyl has agreed to meet with her, but that she hasn't decided yet whether she will deign to meet with him. What a turkey to put himself into such a position!

The same applies to any candidate for the presidency. If any candidate meets with CS, whether republican or democrat, the photos and film and audios should be played back during the campaigns to remind people about where the candidates stand when it comes to supporting our troops and our foreign policy, especially our policy against terrorism.

"Aides to Sen. John McCain have confirmed that the 2008 presidential hopeful will meet with anti-American war protester Cindy Sheehan, possibly later today."
I always thought McCain belonged in Jail.

Ah, McBain your political tin ear is showing.
I promise you McBain meeting with She-man will not win you one primary unless you switch parties.
And RINOs will not fare well in 2006 or 2008.
Goodbye McBain, you had a chance and you are squandering it.
To which I say, GOOD!!!!

"[Arizona Sen.] Jon Kyl is also meeting with them, as well, since most of them are Arizonans," he told CNN. "And, as you know, the president met with her once. I doubt if I'll meet with her twice"
What senator Kyl knows and is unwilling to acknowledge here is that when the president met with CS she was not known as an anti-American war protester and a political hack for the liberals. Senarot Kyl knows the truth now and would be doing himself and the country a disservice by meeting her now or in the future.

Well, you guys have to concede that McCain is a excellent political mole. He has the MSM and Democrats believing that he's on their side when, if you read between the lines, he's actually helping out the GOP.
This is the guy who made Michael Moore feel an inch tall at the GOP convention, remember? He's also the guy who pushed Bush to the right during the 2000 GOP primaries and galvanized conservatives against him. He knew that he didn't have conservative support, that's why he ran so that conservatives would come out in droves to support Bush.
IMO, he's probably going to tell Sheehan to STFU or something. But he's not going to pander to her, if that's what 99.9% of FReepers believe.

"I honor her service......"
What service has Cindy done?
It was her son that bleed and died for her right to be an absolute idiot.
