I had to click the link to see the part you omitted:
Mike S. Adams wrote this review shortly after paying his quarterly estimates to the IRS. He sincerely hopes that Boortz and Linder succeed before the auditors coming knocking on his door.
DUMP THE IRS!
Dr. Adams is great. Check out his website, particularly the hate mail.
Taxreform ping!
I'm sure his stuff has been posted here and I've read it, but man, the article got me hook line and sinker - great sarcasm.
And I definitely will check out his site.
Ah, it's just too bad the book is a crock and the FAIRTAX is a hoax.
And the "purge" begins...
Thats a mighty powerful argument you present.
If you would like to be added to this ping list let me know.
John Linder in the House(HR25) & Saxby Chambliss Senate(S25) offer a comprehensive bill to kill all income and SS/Medicare payroll taxes outright and replace them with with a national retail sales tax administered by the states.
H.R.25,S.25
A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.Refer for additional information:
Have you simply forgotten the last 50 FAIRTAX threads? Have you forgotten Jorgenson's disavowal of the FAIRTAX org's numbers? Are you a paid shill of any FAIRTAX advocacy group?
But, Won't that just increase the level of existing corruption of Liberal (KAL., LA., IL. and WA....etc. :) State Governments ? :D
Oh my! We CERTIANLY can't have that can we!
The Fairtax proposal is, and always has been, about only one thing.
F R E E D O M ! ! !
That's my Senator!!!!!! (Go, Saxby, go!).
I want to be free to earn money without giving a large percentage of it to the government before I even see it. Other ideas are welcome.
Have you forgotten Jorgenson's disavowal of the FAIRTAX org's numbers?
You mean the same Jorgenson that assumes that businesses can steal tax withholding from its employees and do whatever it will with it as a simplifying implementation in his models?
The same Jorgenson that fails to include any reductions for tax related overhead costs on businesses with the repeal of income an payroll taxes in his simplified models?
The same Jorgenson that finds there is no loss of purchasing power for the consumer but finds instead a 3-10% increase in the purchasing power of the dollar even under the extreme conditions of replacing an income tax with the above simplifying assumptions in place?
The only thing Jorgenson had to say was his model shows that takehome pay does not decrease in noting that real wages will generally rise with increased productivity and economic efficiencies derived from repeal of the income tax and going to a retail sales tax.
You are referring to the the same Jorgenson that finds that GDP will grow by 10% in the first year,
private savings and investment would increase by over 70%,
U.S. exports would increase over 26% closing the trade gap,
U.S. production would rise at least 20% in most industries,
All obviously factors that provide increasing demand for labor (and consequently supporting wages) significantly, are you not?
Are you a paid shill of any FAIRTAX advocacy group?
Are you a paid disrupter in behalf of any Flat Tax or other Income Tax supporting group? You certainly act like one.
Dr. Adams must be a Freeper! He knows the Squirrels!
A wunnerful find ... and verry phunny!! Thanks much for posting it.
What HAVE you been (are?) you been drinking/smoking/ingesting??? You're wrong on all counts.
Get a life!
What, no book burning?
