Jane Fonda Cancels Anti-War Bus Tour

Jane Fonda told me yesterday she's scrapped plans for anti-war bus trip next March. As well, Fonda will be making only two appearances this month on another rally with controversial British politician George Galloway, not the eight that were widely misreported in the press yesterday.

Why the change of plans? Certainly, Fonda is still very much against the war in Iraq and in favor of helping our troops there. But she said that she didn't want to distract people from Cindy Sheehan's bus trip, already under way and gathering support.

She doesn't want to take away from Cindy Sheehan? LOL
She's probably P.O.d about being upstaged by
Hurricane Katrina. She won't be getting facetime.
Since those busses are going to be sitting idle
why doesn't she take them to Louisiana and evacuate some people?
Never mind. That would put her shrewish visage all over the news.
Forget I suggested it.

"shrewish visage"

I love that. Mind if I borrow it from time to time?

Maybe someone doesn't want to admit that their vegetable oil bus didn't turn out quite so reliable?

Naaah.

The "Vegetable-Oil-Powewered-Bus" gimmick must've bombed.

I am deeply saddened to hear that Fonda cancelled. Liberal protests just aren't what they use to be. Chaulk up another thing that Bush can be blamed for since everything is his fault.

This is what really chaps my hide. They want the troops to fail in their mission, yet they support the troops? I tell ya, there have been times that I have just about put my fist through a liberals face when they wretch this lie.

Sindy's 15 are up. No one shows up for staged protests. Communities request she not come. Fonda knows she'll not have support.

Why that stuff?

We owe these miserable pieces of, er, work, something that they reserved for our boys coming back from Vietnam... Now that these treasonous, moonbat, contemptible hippies (or wannabes) have reared their ugly, lice infested heads again, I say it is time for an interest payment on an old debt.

Don't you or a neighbor own a dog?

Since US troops are there to fight if there is a war, and Fonda opposes that, I'm not sure of the meaning of the phrase, " in favor of helping our troops." Maybe you don't mean the same thing I mean when I say "our?"

Maybe, she actually listened to what Galloway has said in the past. These people don't really want to be caught out in the Heartland asking for directions or help when their bus gets lost or breaks down.

It's probably all the coverage of the protests of the Shitty caravan. It's spooking Hanoi Jane ;-) Her agent is looking for material regarding her "acting career".

She's a self serving bitch who stuck her finger in the wind, just to see which way the wind was blowing.

Help hurrican victims? Jane? LOLOLOLOL!

If she goes to see the "troops" they might make her wear a burka. Maybe pose next to an IED before they set if off when a convoy of the "Bad guys" goes by.

Hey, don't throw rocks at me. That's what she did the last time she crossed the ocean to support the "troops".

No, Miz Fondle wouldn't do something like that because it would mean that she would actually have to help someone. People like her talk and talk -- they accuse the government of not doing enough -- but you don't see her and her kind actually doing something themselves to help. She might ruin her manicure if she lifted a spoon to ladle out some food to the refugees. She might actually get DIRTY if she had to wade through the flood waters to pull the stranded to safety.

For her, it's all about image. I hate to tell her, her image was ruined long ago when she sold our Vietnam POWs down the river.

More proof that these faux protests are completely liberal media generated, just as all leftist "activism" is simply a script being written by their PR machines in NY.

lol. Thanks for the ping. Obviously, Fonda's time is very "valuable", and as Cindy's agenda gets less and less attention and support, it's just not "cost-effective" for Fonda to "be there".
