Awww, isn't that cute!

It won't be long before that lil cutie starts his first genocide.

Before you know it, he'll be all grown up and dead.

It's time for all white people in namibia to get as much of their money out of that country as possible. Remove everything of value and burn the rest.

It's only a matter of time before it is stolen from you anyway so you may as well leave now and re-establish yourself in a safer environment.

Does anyone ever wonder how aparthied could be bad if all the people who lived under it were better off than they are now?

The sad truth is, that with few exceptions, Africa is a basket case and will remain a basket case until it is recolonized. They weren't ready for self-rule and at this point it looks like they may never be ready

But unlike in Zimbabwe, the Namibian government IS compensating land-owners. That's a HUGE difference.

For now. Any farmer with two brain cells to rub together will take whatever offer he's offered and bug out, knowing full well that the next stage won't be so friendly, and that when the food runs short he'll be blamed for it by the government.

And yes, obviously, the result will be more mass starvation. Throwing dollars at the problem is entirely pointless. I'd be perfectly happy to help if the help I could offer would actually accomplish weal, but it won't.

"the president of the agricultural union says there is no comparison between the forced sales and the violent farm invasions that took place in neighbouring Zimbabwe."

Of course not - the nice native government official, native born/bred Communist said so.

Not just there, but most of Africa. Get their assets liquid, and then get their assets out of there. Sometimes I think the whole continent circling the drain.

So, let's see, white farmers, born in the country, are not considered citizens? Go figure.

Namibia is a make-believe "Nation." It was first a German Imperial Administrative Unit, captured by the South Africans in World War I, who administered it for many years, while respecting the diverse nations which populate it. Unfortunately, they were pressured to leave it to the world of make-believe some years ago.

The Whites (primarily descended from the original German settlers and some South Africans, who moved in after the change in Administrations, after World War I, before the fantasy seekers were allowed to take over), are not the only victims of the pretense that it is one Nation. There are many small tribal peoples, who are totally at the mercy of those who wield the majority vote. It is an ugly picture; but it is the picture of "Democracy" in the Third World.

See Democracy In The Third World.

I understand that Namibia has, or at least once had, the highest percentage of White population in all sub-Saharan Africa, higher than even South Africa, and at its peak over 30% White. The reason, as some have pointed out here, is that the country is ill-suited for traditional agriculture and could support a very low absolute number of indigenous Africans. Hence, the White immigration into the country made a high percentage-of-composition difference.

Thanks for the ping. Sorry to see another "hate the white, we prefer to starve to death country", but it seems to be the fastest ticket off the planet nowadays.

The seizure of Casey Nethercott's land in Cochise County, near Douglas Arizona and the giving it to the invaders precedes this, does it not?

Yes, literally and in strict chronology. However, the Namibia expropriations have long been expected and have been subject to a lot of preliminary planning. Note the prior legacy article reference in the first several posts to this topic.
