With the President back at his Crawford ranch, the anti-war protest right outside his ranch is getting a lot more media attention. ABC7 looks at who is financing the operation and who's providing on-the-ground support.

The camp at Crawford is full of Cindy Sheehan supporters, people from all walks of life. But off to the side are a small group of professionals, skilled in politics and public relations who are marketing her message.

Cindy Sheehan kneels before a cross with her son's name on it, touches his picture, wipes her tears. It's an outpouring of emotion that is part of a scheduled news event organized daily for the television radio and print reporters who crowd in to capture a mother's grief.

The article mentions that Ben and Jerry's Icecream and moveon.org, Howard Dean's "Democracy for America", and Code Pink are funding the Cindy Sheehan protests and are orchestrating photo ops. They are paying the families to go and protest.

This is a local affiliate. The affiliates of all the MSM news outlets throughout Texas and Oklahoma are far more conservative and will tell the truth on things like this versus the national media. Some of the affiliates are locally owned and don't toe the national line.

Cindy is, more and more, revealing the true nature of her beliefs...and making it more and more evident why she and her son were at complete odds over the US Military and the war in Iraq.

She is willfully passing on lies and twisted, sick tales to advance her anti-American, anti-Bush, anti-military agenda...and doing it with a skillfully manufactured cover of grieving that is turned on and off with the point of a media camera. It is sickening and disgusting.

I have many friends over in Iraq as contractors and military personnel. They tell me that most Iraqis do welcome them and that in most areas of the country significant progress is neing made. I will believe THEM, thank you very much Ms. Sheehan. You see, they volunteered to be there and are doing the hard work of freeing and stabilizing Iraq, as are now millions of Iraqis themselves.

Their agenda is freedom, truth, service to others, and help. Yours is pure negativity, antifreedom (as evidenced by your calling thugs and murderes, "freedom fighters").

As to her comment today about Bin Laden being an "alleged" terrorist. More lies. He has indicated himself through the videos AL Quida has put out to the world, that it was "his" operation that brought 911 upon us. Calling him the "alleged" terrorist responsible is like calling Hitler the "alleged" leader of the Third Reich.

You bet they are paying expenses of protesters, the left is well organized and funded for street theater. They are good at getting out the bodies.

I can recall seeing a Greyhound bus loading in the Costco parking lot for an Anti-War protest in Washington put on by A.N.S.W.E.R. It is a different group, but many left groups share the technique. I guess the left has access to more people with time on their hands to do protests if they can import them from out of state in large numbers.

They are using the same methods they used in the Vietnam War protests. The difference now is that because of the internet and alterative news outlets the general population is no longer dependent on MSM and the usual suspects for their information.

I helped a little today. Our daughter and I were coming home from B'ham. we both had dr's appts. On the way back home we stopped at the most well know restaurant along the interstates here. Right after we were seated a soldier cam in with his wife or girlfriend. When I saw him I remembered something I read on here about paying for their meals. That is what we did. The waitress said that was the first time that had ever happened.
