i think that was happy2bme that posted it.
btw, i have both a bayourod and a dane version!
Lol, yes, these scamps have the type of can do moxy that made our country great. Why, who among us hasn't thought of ripping off our local banks as opposed to working hard and playing by the rules? I'll bet the WSJ will applaud their ingenuity and class mobility - they now have more money in their pockets than most of us do in the bank. Way to go illegals!! </sarc>
Hey, did anyone see South Park last night? It was a repeat of the classic "Goobacks" episode, where "time immigrants" traveled from the future and "TOOK UR JOERBS!" I love how Stan's parents (the liberal former hippies) were sooooo compassionate and understanding towards the time immigrants' plight until Randy (Stan's dad) lost his own job. Suddenly, he can't even pronounce the word "job" properly!
Summed it up perfectly: it's easy for people to believe this stuff is so wonderful when they think it's not going to affect them personally, then when it does, how quickly their tune changes. I've actually seen this phenomenon occur with both left-wing and right-wing types - "Hey, I'm a college graduate, those farm jobs aren't my problem...hey, my work is being outsourced to India! It's NOT FAIR, I tell ya!"
Can't help but notice that the 'roid hasn't posted at all since Monday night. His account doesn't appear to be suspended, so this must be his own choice.
Frankly, I'm a little disappointed. I thought he was made of sterner stuff. Oh well, if he wants to lay low for a while, that's cool. I can lay low too.
But hey, in the meantime, (doing my best Casey Kasem impersonation) let's take a little stroll down memory lane with this classic from Houston's own Bayourod, coming in at #2:
(Responding to tertiary01's post: "Since you have so much compassion for Illegal Mexican immigrants")
Not me. As I've posted before, I have no affinity for Mexicans or Americans of Hispanic descent. To recognize that foreign laborers are essential right now to sustaining our economy does not mean that I am particularly fond of Hispanics.
I don't speak Spanish, have Hispanic relatives, work with Hispanic or have any close Hispanic friends.
To recognize that fences cannot stop men willing to risk their lives to feed their families does not mean that I like those men. It just means that I understand the nature of the problem.
If I had my personal preference, instead of Mexican laborers, we would have Western European laborers with blond hair and blue eyes pouring across our borders bringing their beautiful daughters. But that isn't reality. Neither is "sealing the border".
To recognize that Republicans must not unnecessarily alienate Hispanic voters with gratuitous insults if we hope to keep Hillary out of the White House is not the same as saying that I want to invite them to live in my house.
However all my relations with Hispanics have been good. Can't say that about Nigerians and half a dozen other types.
Let's take a moment to ponder these words. Think about the sort of mentality it requires not only to think this way, but to actually sit down at the keyboard and type them out, THEN turn around and call other people "racist" and "anti-Hispanic" - I would say it boggles the mind, but when you think about it, there's nothing surprising here.
Seriously, though, I really hope 'roid isn't taking a voluntary leave of absence from this forum. His posts not only keep things lively in these threads, but he gives everyone a glimpse into the mindset that supports illegal immigration.
(Click on my "about" page for more classic 'roid quotes. Thank you.)
Don't forget about the time he told me that, despite my family being here from the late 1700s/early 1800s, despite my ancestors who fought for this country through the years, me & my family were no different than illegal Mexican aliens from his standpoint.
Boo-freakin'-hoo for the Dover construction company that lost $43,000 in this illegal scam. Didn't really pay to hire illegals after all, did it? Too bad this doesn't happen to every business that doesn't bother to check phony SS cards and drivers licenses in their hurry to hire criminals.
Oh yeah, that was a good one! If you can find that post, do me a favor and FRmail the URL to me so I can add it to my "about" page.
Can the illegals my son-in-law hired today stay long enough for them to finish moving him into his new house? Please?
I can't say for sure if they were working for them and stole it or they just did a smash and grab...Article doesn;t mention that. Perhaps you are right.
>"Don't forget about the time he told me that, despite my family being here from the late 1700s/early 1800s, despite my ancestors who fought for this country through the years, me & my family were no different than illegal Mexican aliens from his standpoint."<
-WOW, bayoufraud, er, bayourod actually said that? Do you have a link to that statement? If not, I'll bet I could get that on Google, I'll make a search out on it.
bump^
;^D
">"Don't forget about the time he told me that, despite my family being here from the late 1700s/early 1800s, despite my ancestors who fought for this country through the years, me & my family were no different than illegal Mexican aliens from his standpoint."<"
i remember that, it was fairly recent
It was said and inferred in bits and pieces, but here's the thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1448446/posts
Bayourod said THAT???
Rod?? You've been giving the rest of us hell this whole time, and you harbor an attitude like that? WTF!?!
I can't believe I missed that thread.
Most of the ranchers here in Cochise County go out armed...they did so before the illegal alien invasion was such a problem...we have rattlers and cougars all over.
We've even had at least one rancher arraigned for threatening when she waved a pistol at a group of illegals...charges later dropped when common sense took over.
Your scenario is probably not far-fetched at all. I just hope Arizona passes a Castle Doctrine Law before it does.
I've seen pictures of people, pictures of animals, quotes from famous people, but Cartman, your homepage is classic.
bayourod is a race-baiting coward. On immigration threads he accuses people of being racists and xenophobes, but when he's challenged on this, he runs and hides.
Just cashing the stolen checks that American citizens won't.
