GOLDWATER TELLS HANNITY NAPOLITANO IS ‘PRO-ILLEGAL ALIEN GOVERNOR

Arizonas liberal governor, Janet Napolitano, declined an invitation for an interview on Sean Hannitys radio program today. That led Hannity to remark that Napolitano knows her days will be numbered if she doesnt do something about the border invasion.
Later in todays program, GOP governor candidate Don Goldwater did appear on the airwaves with Hannity. He said Napolitano obviously got the idea to declare four southern counties a disaster area from New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who had just done the same thing next door. If Napolitano is wise, Goldwater said, she will wake up from her wonderland and protect the citizens of this state.
Goldwater complained that Napolitano is a pro-illegal alien governor who tried to secure drivers licenses for them and that she is also in favor of the highly-fraudulent Matricula Consular cards. He said she blocked implementation of Proposition 200, which has survived six court challenges and passed overwhelmingly in last years election.
We need to take care of this (invasion) problem now, Goldwater said. Peoples lives and property are in danger here.
Goldwater told Hannity that the 2006 gubernatorial race hinges on immigration, crime, forest and water issues. He said he is a conservative who favors less government, economic freedom and individual liberty. Hannity referred to the late Senator Barry Goldwater, Dons uncle, as a libertarian conservative, but Don rebuffed the notion that Barry was anything but conservative.

Totally OT, but . . .
I recall when we lived in Phoenix years ago, the word was whenever you'd drive past Senator Goldwater's house, if the flag was flying on the pole, he was home, and if the flag was down, he was traveling.
It was a cool thing, actually.

That led Hannity to remark that Napolitano knows her days will be numbered if she doesnt do something about the border invasion. Although I am pleased that the illegal immigration issue is being talked about both here and in the MSM, I also know that much of what Napolitano is saying she will do is politically motivated. Now let's hope that our administration will take their cue (long time coming), and do something productive about illegal immigration A.S.A.P......if not sooner.

Goldwater complained that Napolitano is a pro-illegal alien governor who tried to secure drivers licenses for them ...... In July, I was in the Yucatan.
In discussing illegal aliens with a Mexican businessman, I pointed out that Mexico had armed roadblocks on its highways to stop Guatemalan illegals.
"True", he replied, "but we make it clear we don't want them here. The Americans, on the other hand, give Mexicans mixed messages."
"How so?", I asked.
"Well, look at them. First, they say they don't want illegal Mexicans and then they turn right around and give them drivers licenses!"

I saw that on Hanity tonight.
Don Goldwater certainly doesn't have the charisma as did Barry.
However every one who has any knowledge of Arizona politics knows that this governor plays both sides of the PR fence.
She is a typical lib.

I think the Democrats are betting that Bush won't take them up on these emergency orders.
Their betting against odds and playing for all the PR of looking tough on illegal immigration.
While all the time telling various radical Hispanic groups, don't react to my tough words react to my actions.

Napolitano is only protecting her back side hoping to get re-elected. With all these voters wanting something done, she has to otherwise she will be out. Illegal Immigration is one hot darn button these days, and the Republican elected officials are not taking note.

There was a silent auction. One of the prizes was lunch with Kolbe. Rnady was seriously thinking of bidding for it and inviting the media...LOL

Napolitano not only can, but should be beaten by any number of issues! Illegal immigration is THIS years hot button, but her whole way of leading is to point the finger at everyone else rather than try to come up with a legitimate fix herself...gasline break in 04, she first says "it's no big deal, then when gas lines start in and price jumps up she then screams for the federal gov't to do something. She also spent much of this year promoting ALL-DAY kindergarten and trying in the courts to DERAIL the Prop 200 that much of AZ voted FOR because we DON'T want to pay for Illegal Medical and Education costs!
To: hsmomx3
Barry Goldwater....the 1st man I supported for President. A active High School student in liberal Oakland, CA suburb going aginst the crowd. I waived the flag and praised the man and was repeatedly threatened (and more).
He changed in later life. But what he said 40 years ago still rings true! A conservative and liberatian but AOK!
Maybe one of the last honest politicians and Reagan....
He is in good company.

I'll give you 10 to 1 odds that President Bush won't call out the National Guard or do anything else that WILL ACTUALLY STOP EVEN 50% of the current flow across the border.
I think those Dims are making a pretty good bet. To be tougher and way to the right of our fine GOP President on the illegal immigration is easy. He is so pathetic on illegal immigration that all it takes to be to the right of him and to give the appearance of being an absolute border hawk all a Dim has to do is open her mouth and say "I am against illegal immigration".

Pretty sad, huh? and then when folks like you and I comment on that *sad fact*, we get tagged as leftist supporters by the OBL crowd.
Have you seen the latest piece by Thomas Sowell? I guess he's a "buchanonite", as well...
Here's his quote:
"Citizen-of-the-world types are resistant to the idea of tightening our borders, and especially resistant to the idea of making a distinction between people from different countries. But the real problem is not their self-righteous fetishes but the fact that they have intimidated so many other people into silence."~ Thomas Sowell.
