While Mohamed Atta was taking flight lessons in Venice...( Able Danger )...identified him as a member of the al-Qaida terrorist group but took no action to stop him.
The revelation had particularly strong ties...because Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi...learned to fly at Huffman Aviation.
Huffmans former owner, Rudi Dekkers, was angered that the government...never shared it with the FBI or other agencies who could have stopped the terrorists.
Dekkers claims the fallout from unwittingly training the terrorists cost him his business, his reputation and his marriage. Huffman closed six months after the attacks.
Everywhere I come, they say, Are you not that guy that trained terrorists? said Dekkers, who now lives in Naples. I am without a job right now. I have no income anymore. My life was destroyed.
Atta and al-Shehhi first came to Huffman Aviation on July 3, 2000...until Jan. 2, 2001.
Dekkers said he is upset that the 9/11 Commission omitted Able Dangers findings from its report.
The funny thing about it is, if somebody does an investigation like this 9/11 panel, arent they supposed to talk to everybody? Dekkers said. They never talked to me. Never.
Dekkers also said that the 9/11 report incorrectly states the dates that Atta spent in Venice.
If my involvement in the 9/11 report is not accurate, I believe that there is more stuff written that is not accurate, Dekkers said.
Dekkers said had he received even an inkling that Atta and al-Shehhi were linked to al-Qaida, he could have stopped their flight training, at least at his school.
If somebody tells me that someone is trying to kill someone, Ill stop that someone, Dekkers said. If I had known what these guys were going to do, Id kill them with my bare hands.
The Clinton administration under Janet Reno..."

I don't know at what stage the communication broke down.
I guess I feel bad for the guy....
What is disturbing is his claim that theny never talked with him and that the information in the report on when these guys were at the school is wrong. As he correctly points out, if that basic factual information is wrong, what else is wrong with the report?

Gorelick worked for Janet Reno and Clinton.
Gorelick was the architect and enforcer of the wall.
The wall prevented Able Danger from passing on any information to FBI or anyone else.
Yep. If I don't like the way that you look, I won't let you in my plane.
Unfortunately, some other school would pick him up, as long as his docs are good, and I believe that Atta's were.
I'd bet there were nearly 3,000 people who would trade places with him.
Well, at least good enough for Janet Reno and Jamie Gorlick.
Janet ordered the massacre in Waco and Jamie facilitated the mass-murders on 911!
The lesbians from hell!
The dates of Atta's travels (as 'established' by the commision) were key to concluding that: 1) Atta could not have met with Iraqi intelligence and 2) Able Danger's information was incorrect and could be ignored.
I wonder if this person's timeline could have been in conflict with the 'established' timeline. If it did, of course they wouldn't talk to him.
You can move on with your life, they can't.
That's the way to handle a clintonite.
Somebody review those records of training, pull-eaze! This is good research...I mean after Cindy in Crawford, of course.
Please indulge me, here.
I once was in a situation where I was dealing with a person that I found out later was being "watched". Although my situation was relatively minor compared to this, I came out of the experience pretty darn mad. I danced real quick and made it through ok by pushing "forward and up" and praying alot but still I was darn mad at the higher ups who allowed this the situation to transpire.
For this businessman, it might have been "the straw". It surely is tough out there in the business world but one has to feel like there are certain things one can trust. With slim profit margins, being dragged through a tragedy of that magnitude would really take a toll.
So I say to Cindy: 3000 people were killed and it don't stop there. Its called terrorism for a reason.
And its sounding more like it was not "intelligence failure". It was beauracracy and politics. And to have a busniess person, that I presume was following all the rules, caught up in it and then being discarded as a meaningless part of the puzzle is disturbing.
Criminy, all the paperwork one has to file for the right to employ and pay taxes as a business andd then you get another instance of the people in charge are a bunch of nuts surrounded by a bunch of robots.
Ok. I am done. I will put the bunny on the table, warm up the griddle and get the flour...
Talk about wanting to put the tinfoil on ones "head"...
The guy is not alone in his sentiments.
Exactly. 911 commission = politically motivated and biased waste of time and money
