This is a significant story being repeated all across the United States. Illegal immigration control is a thing of the past. It is physically and it is politically a dead issue. Illegal immigrants have been living deep in the interior of the U.S. for so long that their children are citizens, many elgigible to vote and they've made lasting relationships with employers/friends.
California went over the top in the 2000 census with a majority Hispanic population. Texas just did this past year. This process can NOT be reversed short of a bloody genocidal war. It is simply time to adjust.

If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to live in India, stick around 30 or 40 years.

CA doesnt have a majority hispanic population. Whites are not a majority in CA but they are still a plurality..There is no majority hispanic state. NM comes closest.
But your other points are right on. Stronger border control will stop oterhs from coming here , but those that are here are here period.

It is simply time to adjust. Or is it time to enforce existing law?

actually if you go look at the demographics, Mexico is a wealthier country than most of the rest of Latin America, all of Africa, most of the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and most of Asia.

They just announced this week that Texas White Anglos are now the minority. Not that I care about race, but the reason is clear: illegal immigration.
We should alert the President, I'm sure he is deeply troubled by it, and it will inspire him to do something about our borders.

What does India got to do with this report?
To: atlanta67
Then they should stay in their own country or immigrate legally.

From 2000 to 2004, the county has gained 1,739 Hispanics for a total of 4,550 last year.Hey, Bedford County, you ain't seen nothing yet.
... with California leading the county [sic] with the highest Hispanic population and growth.
Thank goodness we are still numero uno.
It is simply time to adjust.
Now that's depressing.

Some of the arguments...."We can't throw them out"..."There's too many of them".....
Strengthen the border patrol and get me a catapult....I'll fix the problem my self.

I think US got a major problem at hand. There are too many people moving to this country just for benefits they will have. Unfortunately, many of these people are NOT thinking on sincerely contributing or adopting the American values. People come here from the oppressed/third class countries and demand special rights, wear hijab/burqa for a driver's license picture or something else. And if we comment on such things, they call us bigots/racists. Strange world we live in.
