Fox updating now. Says they have been arrested by SWAT team.
Maybe someday all the court houses will have indoor garages for loading the prisoners.
A father of two, a husband ,a veteran of the Vietnam war and a 28 year career of serving blown away by these scumbags. These two not worthy of breathing the same air as Wayne Morgan.
God help them, their souls are lost.
I am seeing the same thing. Press conference about to start on Gretta.
BTTT !
Buy a gun. One each. Learn to use them.
It is irresponsible not to own a gun and be able to protect yourself.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is a reality.
I can't say what I'd really like to say about these pieces of scum or else I'd be banned. He and his witch of a wife are nothing but pure evil. I hope like hell that their life on the run is full of awful, nasty things that happen to these two vermin everytime they turn around. I hope they're suffering so much physical pain they'd rather be dead and I hope they don't get any relief by dying.
Of course, that's not the way it works. They're on the run and if I had to predict the outcome, they'll be found, surrounded and shot to death. That's just too easy for all of the pain they've caused others.
I hope they find out what hell is like before the end of this day.
I just read the updated headline where the killers were apprehended. I'm grateful they aren't out on the streets hurting anyone else.
Now I'll read the rest of the thread to find out about their being recaptured.
I appreciate your advice Eaker and don't take offense to it at all. We have wanted to buy one for over a year now but just have not yet had the finances to do it (hubby was laid off in Oct. but went into business for himself and now the business is starting to do well!) We are almost now in a position to be able to do it so I would think we will have one very soon.
Next is a few lessons! Any volunteers?
hey, Eak,
I have a Springfield M1 I'd like identified, in terms of age
if I run the numbers past you, can you swing it?
best home defense weapon (especially for a novice) is a simple, no-frills, well-made, pump-action, 12guage shotgun, loaded with #4 to #8 buckshot
semiautomatic pistols are the most difficult of civilian firearms to learn to use well.
rule of thumb: if you MUST get a pistol, start with a decent .38 revolver that fits your hand. The nice thing about revolvers: if the bullet is live and in the cylinder, the gun WILL fire when you pull the trigger. Mechanically simple, easy to maintain, and if you need more than five shots you got problems a pistol ain't gonna solve
whatever firearm you get, be absolutely certain to
1. Buy lots of ammo (BLOAT!)
2. Convert ammo into skill!
FReepmail it to me and we will see.
Good to see you king!
sent. see FReepmail. thanks
Lady,
Everything my friend King said is true.
I agree with the 12gauge pump, but would recommend a pistol grip so that you can maneuver more freely. #4 Buckshot is okay, but practice with a stronger load, say 00 buck, and use it if you are comfortable with it. Understand first that shooting a gun in the house at night by itself is traumatic. Very loud and bright unlike shooting at a range on Saturday morning with earmuffs and safety glasses. Further, you are shooting at another human being. Understand also that sheetrock will stop nothing so don't make a decision based on not piercing walls.
I prefer a semiautomatic to a revolver as you have more rounds in the magazine, but even the best of them can fail so that is up to you to go to a range that rents weapons and can assist you in testing them.
When we old guys recommend handguns we would be hypocritical if we don't recommend what we carry. However, we have shot thousands of rounds through them and many have been pretty heavily trained. By virtue of this we may not recommend what is right for you.
It is kinda like telling you what kind and color of car you should buy.
We do wish you the best and come back and let us know your progress.
I didn't plug my carry-weapon ;)
I carry a .45caliber M1911-A1 with a Pachmeyr grip, oversize beavertail grip safety, and a LaserMax internal laser-sight, loaded with flying ash-trays.
I don't plug the M1911 unless I know your hand is big enough to operate it ably.
LOL!!
I tried pachyderm grips but the elephant kept stomping on my feet!!
PS: Yer advice always rocks!
thanks!
any word on that M1?
I am running it.
Should have an answer soon by Monday.
okers. thanks
